Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pender County

I highly recommend Ty's house. We had a great time. The water views are so beautiful and peaceful to look at, my wife didn't even read her book for the first day. The house was clean and well stocked and Ty was easy to communicate with. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope we can make it back some day.

This is a fantastic beach home. My large family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Steve was very responsive and helpful - the business-side of our vacation was easy and straightforward. The rooms and home itself had literally everything we could want. The décor inside and out was very tasteful and the kitchen was well appointed; plenty of gear for our crew of kids and adults. The family agreed this was one of our best holidays ever. We hope to return for a repeat!

I can't say enough about this cottage! This was an emotional trip. My mom passed away this year & my father has health issues that make life difficult for him. My sister lives in Wilmington & the family wanted to be together for our 1st Christmas without mom. 2 weeks before the trip my father ended up in the hospital for a week. We weren't sure if he was going to be well enough to travel (thankfully he was.) I ended up booking this place on very short notice. Jennifer had the house decorated for Christmas & went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Even the housekeeper wrote us a handwritten note welcoming us. The house had every amenity you could want along with a basket of goodies on the counter. She was VERY thorough with instructions & very responsive. It felt like I just walked into my own home. And I can't even describe waking up and seeing the dozens of birds in the marshes outside the window. We didn't get to use many of the "extras" but we will definitely be back!!

We had a really lovely stay. Jess’s place has incredible views, and the bedrooms are all beautifully designed and comfortable. We especially loved the little deck, outdoor shower and swings! We stayed with 2 toddlers and an infant and it was plenty of room. Jess was so kind and flexible helping us make the space safe and kid-friendly. We also loved that the location was walking distance to food and shops in Surf City. Highly recommend!

Ver nice house, and close walk to the beach ! House was very clean and had everything needed to enjoy our stay! Alex was very responsive when we had questions definitely will stay there again!

What can I say? WOW! We chose WWAR to hold our Family Memorial Service for my Father-in-Law and it was perfect! He was an artist and a very eclectic man, WW fit the bill to a tee! The house is literally a museum and full of so much creativity and just really cool stuff. The kitchen is huge and suited our family just right. The grounds are a wonder in itself. So much to explore and the dock was perfect. We plan on coming back in the Fall to spend some time there again. Allen was an amazing host and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We definitely left a mark on Walker World but more importantly, Walker World left a mark on us as a family. Thank you again Allen. Viva la "Top Cat"!!!!

The place was perfect in every aspect: The location, size, accommodations, amenities, and proximity to the areas we frequented. For our tennis group, the total cost was less than what a hotel would have cost, which is historically where we used to stay. This experience, summarized by our ability to share one place, travel together, have meals together, watch TV together, and have the large space to spread out was absolutely fantastic. The experience was positive any which way you look at it. On top of that, Jana (and her husband) were super hosts with super friendly communication. We wish we had the opportunity to meet them in person, but..............maybe this time next year :-).

Super place in an excellent location! The is a wonderful house in a great location for a large family getaway! Steve was quick to respond to any questions we had and replaced the keurig immediately that decided to breathe it’s last breath when we arrived. One of the best features is the large dining table that allowed our entire family to eat & play games together! Would definitely stay there again in the future!

We loved our stay. We were concerned the split AC may get hot, but I was cold most nights and the house was always cool. We cooked all but one night and the kitchen was well equipped. It has also been updated with a Keurig coffee maker. Note: the host let us know and it worked better for us that the unit now has 2 twins and a queen size bed. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Marc’s condo was very nice and we loved that it was on the beach! We had a great stay and would recommend!

Not owner's fault, but house was not cleaned before our check in. There was sand on every floor of house and even piles of sand in the kitchen cabinets. Owner offered to send someone to clean floors, but we didn't want our vacation interrupted by wet floors. The rental company is in charge of housekeeping, so I let them know also. Otherwise, love location! Walking distance to everything you might need. Plenty of room for our family of 12. Having 4 bikes was wonderful too :) Booked already for next year!
