Where to begin? What an absolutely stunning colonial home in a perfect location. Shawn and co were amazing with communication, the self check-in was well explained and super straightforward. Very easy to find the property too. The house itself is beautiful, plenty of space, very tastefully decorated, and comes equipped with everything you need for your stay. A big bonus is the outside seating area, garden, and wet kitchen area. Lots of nice places to eat nearby, and a very short grab ride to the beach, shopping malls, and Georgetown. Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our travels around Malaysia, wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we’re in Penang. Thank you so much Shawn for sharing your home, for your professional and timely responses to our questions, and for making the entire stay so easy and relaxing. Absolute 10/10

Esther’s place looked exactly like the photos! We chose this home to stay in because it looked homey and it’s cat themed haha (im a cat lover). My family loved it too, would consider staying here again the next time we visit Penang 😊

We enjoyed our stay throughout. The host was very accommodating. All requests were attended to and well prepared as committed by the host. The place was well ventilated when we checked in. Our stay was at ease as all was prepared as discussed. Nothing was missed. Checked out was easy and flexible, thank you to the host. Will definitely get this place again. Thank you very much for such a great place.

A truly superb place to stay if you want to have a month or two in Panang away from the hustle of Georgetown in a well to do, quiet neighbourhood, with great bus connections into town. Good beachside bar (Bora Bora Georgetown) with swimmable beach 5 mind walk away and a number of quality local places to eat nearby, including a food court. I've had a totally smashing time here, and Dr Danesh is a lovely, genial host who will respect your privacy. On several occasions, he has very kindly gone out of his way to help me find my feet, well above and beyond the pure call of hosting. Fida, the Indonesian cleaner, is also a pure gem. But I won't big it up too much as I'm sure I will want to stay again, so kindly stay away ;)

I confirm all the positive reviews. There is a very nice sitting place opposite the house in the garden, where we enjoyed to eat breakfast and talk to Alex, his Wife and another visitors. There is free coffe, tea and drinking hot and cold water. The kitchen is well equiped. Very close to the beach, bus station, restaurants, fresh and food market. Its easy to get everywhere by bus. Always fehlt in good hands with Alex and his Wife as hosts getting any asked information around staying there. I highly recommend this place for stay. and sure would like to book there again for out next visit in Penang.

Everything is good except for the hair dryer. Only one hair dryer was provided and everyone have to share with it. The person who was borrowed and not return to the original place then making others unable to use it. Even though I went and checked the hair dryer the next day, it’s still not been returned.

The hosts are lovely and welcoming. Buddy , the cat is also quite a host! The guest house feels like home away from home. Everything is well tended to and cared for. I felt like I was staying with old friends. I love having access to a kitchen for my meals and cold beverages ( filtered drinking water is greatly appreciated). Thank You Alex & Jo for your hospitality.

Overall was an excellent stay. Very spacious house. Comfortable for big family gathering. House is corner lot, good space for kids to play outdoor. Good cleanliness and sufficient amenities. Besides, very kind and responsive host. Just that default booking is 3 rooms only. Need to inform host and pay separately if want to book more than 3 rooms. Airbnb can only book max 16pax.

Overall this bungalow is very worth to stay especially with big family. This area is very accomodate and easy to find what you want. near to beach for relax and bonus if u like fishing.. we have so much good family time especially when we going for picnic at eco rimba about 10 mints .from the house. very recommended
