The Dairy is the perfect getaway spot in The Lakes - lots of beautiful walking and scenery right on the doorstep. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for your stay - we were particularly grateful for the abundance of firewood provided (a touch not found everywhere with a stove!). Our two dogs absolutely loved the garden space and we could enjoy time in the garden without worry due to it being fully enclosed. When we required some assistance, help was only a phone call away - Sean was a great help and a fantastic host, thank you! Don’t think twice about booking The Dairy - it is a true Lakeland gem!

Absolutely amazing stay, we enjoyed every second. Pub next door was so handy. Property has a very convenient parking space when most properties don’t have parking so that’s a huge plus! Stunning location, views are next level. Able to see the stars on a clear night which we were so pleased about. Property clean, all amenities you could need. Welcome basket on arrival, eggs & milk in fridge. Logs to be replenished after use for the next guests which was fine with us. Michael was a great host, incredibly friendly & great response times. Couldn’t fault the stay! Low beams in bedroom (my partner is 6ft+) but wasn’t an issue for us. Stunning property in a really good location, we will definitely visit again! This is a lovely place, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are walks on your doorstep and no need to get in your car if you do not want to. The accommodation had everything we needed in the kitchen and the fireplace in the living room was an added bonus for the cold nights, as we went in February, plus there is underfloor heating which really made the place cosy. The gardens surrounding the accommodation are lovely and there is a fire pit at the top of the garden to watch the stars if you are lucky enough to get a clear night. The sauna and cold plunge were great after a long day of hiking, we were lucky as the other accommodation that shared the facilities used the sauna late in the evening and we used them late afternoon, so we didn't overlap, which was ideal. I would highly recommend this accommodation, it was lovely for our family break with the dogs. Thanks again for everything

We stayed 3 nights at the barn. The place is fully equipped in any appliance in the kitchen and plenty of storage in the bedroom and bathroom. We spent the short time but there is everything what’s need to stay longer. The place is located within the walking distance to enjoy the landscapes, streams, rivers or waterfalls. The atmosphere in the barn is very cosy, warm and well organised. There is enough of information regarding any equipment to use and places to go. We very enjoyed the time there. The place is highly recommended. Thank you to Judith & Stephen for Prosecco, Lemon Drizzle Cake (love it) and extra log woods.
