We expected to arrive in the first afternoon, but experienced multiple delays thus I let the host know and she was always very understanding and helpful. We arrived at about 7pm and she reached us as we could not find the location. Extremely polite, understanding and kind she took her time to show the house and explain any facility. The house is great, everything is working as expected, beds and bathrooms showed no problems, air conditioning works great. The garden surrounding the house is very beautiful, with games (ping-pong, basket, amaca, bicycles) and very beautiful panorama all around up to the sea. The only minor problem we had is with some ants in the kitchen, but it is understandable having the garden all around. They show up quite quickly when you place food on the working plane. Thank you very much Fotini, hope to visit again in the future.

Our stay at the Villa was truly unforgettable. Nestled high in the mountains, the property offers stunning views of Heraklion below, creating a serene and picturesque retreat. The villa itself is beautifully designed, offering complete privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Minas, our host, was exceptionally responsive and proactive. He greeted us warmly upon arrival, gave us a thorough tour of the property, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals and unwind, including a telescope for magical evening of stargazing. Having stayed in many places across Greece, this villa easily stands out as our favorite. We wouldn’t hesitate to return the next time we visit Crete.

We enjoyed our time at Maria's apartment. It's a two-floor house with two apartments on each floor. Each apartment had a separate entry, so we saw people living upstairs. No doubt, the main treasure of this place - the view from the terrace. We spent long evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunset. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The apartment is new and impeccably clean. easy and free parking nearby (Knossos Palace parking). Bus line nearby to get to Heraklion (3.20 euros round trip), about every 20 minutes until 11pm in the evening. Possibility to visit the palace from 8am before the massive arrival of tourist buses. Obviously, we highly recommend this property.
