Welcome Home is what the title should be since we felt right at home when we arrived. It was clean and well kept. Our flight was canceled due to Hurricane Helena coming from Florida and they were very accommodating with what we’re dealing with, thank you. The house was so relaxing. Walking with the sunflowers surrounding you as you go toward the lake where there is so much to do when you get there. Fire pit, boating, and a sitting area to just soak up the view, which is beyond words. I was able to cook to my chef’s desire with all the items for cooking my best meals. Beds are very comfortable and extra blankets if needed. Sitting out on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee or OJ is just the best!! I could go on and on but I will say it’s as described. And we ate more than one “Lobsta Roll” a day! And getting places was super easy. The wedding was at The Water’s Edge Estate and was easy to get to from the house. I grateful the place was available. I never do reviews, but I had to with this one. We needed a place to stay close to the race track, and I found this cute cabin on the lake. Nathan is an exceptional host! He’s very responsive, helpful, and accommodating! This cabin is just as the pictures shows. If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway this is the place! I highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.
