Cottage vacation rentals in Paignton

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

We had a great stay at Owls we were beteen homes and so needed somewhere to stay. Ben and family were welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including providing fresh bedding as we were staying for more than 2 weeks. We had our own hot tub which we did take advantage of. Great hosts! Little Idle has a lovely energy. The decor is tasteful and homely but not cluttered. It is very light and spacious, a great use of space with lots of windows and doors. The bed is extremely comfortable. It's very peaceful at night so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. There is ample storage for your things. Really effective under floor heating and wood burner. The shower has great pressure and the bath is comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the selection of teas available. There are some fun games and great literature provided. The internet was down but this wasn't a problem as there was good signal with 3 network. The hot tub was positioned in a perfect spot over looking the valley, it was really special. There is no light pollution so on a clear night you can see the milky way. Take a torch/lamp if planning to use the after sunset under the stars. Would LOVE to return again, I am feeling very relaxed after my stay, thank you!

A beautiful home with a stunning view. It was lovely and warm and comfortable, with space for relaxation and games. We went on some lovely walks. The hot tub was also great! Highly recommend.

This cottage is not just beautiful but also very welcominng and cosy, there is everything your family needs to make your stay comfortable. We loved the hot tub, down stairs shower room , coffee machine ( thank you for the very generous amount of pods included) , very secure outside courtyard which was escape proof for our dog 🐕 and the use of the washing machine and dryer 😀 We took advantage of the The Ley Arms pub which is just 1 min walk away - the food was outstanding and the portions where huge ( definitely a winner 🏆) . We will definitely be bookjng again in the future, thank yoh for having us 🙏

We had a fantastic time at the cottage for a few nights. It was self check-in so left to our own devices which was really nice. Place was clean and had everything we needed, right on the moor. John even came to our rescue at midnight when we got ourselves locked out. Thanks again!

Really lovely place to stay. Quiet and peaceful street. Close to town and the beaches. Nice private garden with great bbq. Very tastefully decorated with a really well equipped kitchen. Pips and Raz were really quick to respond to any questions. Will definitely return!

We had such a lovely few days at the cottage. It was private yet the hosts were always on hand to answer questions. We had the hot tub two evenings which was ready and waiting. Lovely to have the log fire too.

The apartment was just wonderful. Everything was decorated and created with love and heart! It was like coming home! We had some Christmas decorations and a very cute Christmas tree! We loved the little garden and the opportunity to stay with our dogs! It was always easy to reach out to Tania and she answered really quickly and friendly! Thank you again for the last days! Also our dogs were so welcomed and got everything they needed!

A great cottage very close to the beach and plenty of walks. Well equipped kitchen. Great power shower and plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable and the whole place was clean on arrival. Great to have a parking space just down the road too. Highly recommend this little place.

We had a lovely stay at Gill’s beautiful place. It was a sanctuary for a quiet new years, with a roaring fire and really well equipped kitchen. The local pub was really good and we walked to the pub on the estuary for a lovely meal. Highly recommend! Thanks Gill.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Kine Cottage. A beautiful location, home from home, and the cottage was lovely. Cosy, comfortable, clean and had all that you could need. Annie was very helpful from the time we booked our trip. Clear instructions and easy to find. We'd certainly stay again and would recommend to our friends and family. We had a wonderful time.

Highly recommend. Perfectly placed, walking distance to the shore & just around the corner from a pub with excellent, fine-dining food. There’s also a great shop/cafe/brewery a walk away ( brewery not operating in winter). house in great condition & with ample space for the 5 people in our party. Interior was charming, & the garden lovely as advertised; our visit in January coincided with cold rainy weather, so we didn’t use it. Warning: with the exception of the dining room & kitchen, every area of the house is on different levels, & all the bedrooms & garden require stair climbing. The host is remote, but was very responsive via DM, encouraging us early to let her know about problems. A few trivial things were missing - the cleaners hadn’t left enough toilet paper or replacement garbage bags, & the previous party had run the sitting room gas out. The host responded immediately and helpfully to these minor problems. Will 10/10 return.

I don't really know where to start with this review as this place is something truly special. Barbara was easy to communicate with and our hosts at the property Bob and Sue were a lovely couple and super helpful, we felt right at home from the start. We were a party of 16 and 4 dogs split between the 3 cottages to celebrate our mum's 80th birthday! We spent most of our time in Great Cleave which we called the 'party house', it had everything you could possibly need and the huge table was great for entertaining. The other 2 cottages Little Cleave and Old Orchard were as equally well equipped and comfortable with lovely beds, the duvets were freshly ironed and everything was very clean. Thoughtfully, all the log burners and BBQs had been prepped ready for use including fire lighters, logs, matches and briquettes. The swimming pool and sauna were wonderful, lots of fun and a true gem as was the games room! Memories were made that will last a lifetime and we will definitely return.

Kelly was a brilliant host, she gave great information before arrival and was super at communicating. The cottage is beautiful and has every we could have possibly needed. We had the most wonderful time walking around the beautiful local area and enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Journeys End Inn.

Perfect cottage for a peaceful getaway. Beautifully styled and comfortable with nice touches and a well-stocked kitchen. Heating works really well. Clare is a fab host! Easy to find, we pulled up outside to drop off bags before parking on a street in the village. Nice pub at the bottom of the road.

We had a fantastic three nights at garden cottage. The surroundings and the view are both wonderful. A lovely view down in to a wooded valley , and just a ten minute walk down the lane to north sands. The garden is beautiful even in the winter, so in the spring and summer must be even more spectacular . The cottage is really well appointed, the spacious lounge has lovely characterful and comfortable furniture, the kitchen is really well designed and equipped with everything you could need . The bedroom has a lovely big comfortable bed with superb linen and nice big pillows, and the shower is great too ! All in all it’s a fantastically well put together Airbnb with no expense spared , very comfortable, very peaceful and great value . We’ll definitely be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful location and comfortable accomodation. Everything we needed for a short stop over. Wished we could have stayed longer and would love to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the outside space and surrounding countrtyside.

We returned to Plumtree Cottage for a second stay to enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful views. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped.

We had a lovely couple of nights. It was very peaceful with gorgeous views and perfect for our nervous dog. The property was cosy and comfortable. Jenny was lovely, very helpful and friendly. She left us some milk and Kit Kats which was very well received after a long journey! We would definitely recommend to others.

We recently stayed at this charming old cottage, and it was an absolute delight. The cottage has such a unique character, blending history and comfort in the most welcoming way. Each room is filled with rustic touches that make it feel cozy and authentic. The setting around the cottage is equally enchanting, with beautiful old trees and flowering vines that make the entire experience feel like a little escape into nature. It was the perfect retreat for relaxing, unwinding, and recharging. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and unique experience.

We arrived earlier than check in and asked if we could drop off the food we had travelled with and got there as the lady who was cleaning was finishing up so was able to check in early. Nikki came down to meet us and drop off some goodies. She provided us with a little doggy hamper for our dog, milk, bread, butter and popped some fresh scones in the oven for us to enjoy which was such a lovely touch. Nikki was super friendly and a lovely host. The cottage is absolutely stunning and the pictures don't do it enough justice as to how gorgeous it is. It is secluded and very peaceful in the grounds of a larger house but tucked away. The garden was well fenced which was great with our little dog. The home was really cozy, beautifully decorated and just what we wanted for a chilled New Year. We would recommend to anyone and will 100% be back
