Cottage vacation rentals in Overstrand

We had a lovely family weekend away at Scott’s place, the place was lovely and clean & Scott was on hand to answer any questions we had. The hot tub and games room were a really lovely bonus and enjoyed by all of us would definitely recommend this place but as other reviews also say the stairs are something to be aware of they are narrow and steep more like climbing a ladder in our opinion although we managed fine! We didn’t find our bed the most comfortable but I think that’s down to personal preference & the only other thing I could note is that the kitchen is very well equipped but had no empty cupboard to be able to put food away (again wasn’t a problem just personal preference) thanks for an amazing stay ☺️ overall a really lovely place!

Lovely holiday cottage in idyllic country settings, really enjoyed the local town as well. Plus the discount given for the local pub was a great bonus! Sarah was a friendly and proactive host even informing us of road closures that may have impacted us - a very nice personal touch! Will be visiting again in the summer hopefully!

Garden cottage is easy to find, and absolutely beautiful, situated in a peaceful rural setting. There is plenty of accessible parking & I was greeted by Jill immediately upon arrival. The cottage itself had everything I needed, was super clean & comfy, and I had a lovely few days there. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful few days here. It was perfectly located to enjoy Holt and surrounding areas. The cottage was very homely and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The parking space was an added bonus. Thank you so much.

The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Stayed here as a birthday treat with my partner, we had a lovely relaxed time. The place was neat, tidy and clean and the hot tub was perfect. Easy to get in via the lock box and enjoyed the privacy that the shrubbery in the garden provided. We had everything we needed for a nice few days!

We celebrated new years here and had a great time! The cottage is beautiful, very quaint and the garden was enclosed and spacious for our dog. Liz was a great host and gave us so much useful information about the area and house. Quality bedding, towels, crockery etc (LOVED the doggy coasters!). There’s plenty to do with only a short drive - city, beach, walks, the broads. Definitely recommend a visit to Horsey Gap to see the seals!

Everything about The Hayloft was exactly as described. Nice cottage. The owners were helpful and we had no problems at all. Would definitely book there again if we go to Norfolk

Had a lovely relaxing weekend in the Boathouse. It’s so cosy, clean and comfortable, with access to a lovely big garden. The location is really convenient for Cromer, Overstrand and for exploring the whole North Norfolk area. I wish we’d had longer and would definitely book again.

The cottage is well situated in the village, close to the church & quiet. Easy walking distance of the dog friendly beach, 2 mins from a dog friendly pub (excellent food & friendly staff) and a local general store. The cottage is well equipped, especially the kitchen (incl coffee makers & grinders). Natural cleaning products were provided throughout the property. The bathroom is very clean & roomy with modern double shower cubicle with rain & normal shower heads. Almost instant hot water whenever you need it. The cottage is packed with many interesting antiques, furniture & paintings. The two reception rooms both have TVs, a wood burner in the dining room & an open fire in the lounge. The double bedroom is large with plenty of storage. Parking is on the road outside but it’s quiet & easy to park. A nice welcome of scones, jam & clotted cream on arrival. Liz was very responsive. Initially the cottage was very cold but she quickly dealt with the heating issue. Definitely recommended.

Mark was responsive with any query we had. The cottage was cute, lovely and clean. Nice location. We stayed over Christmas. The property was Tastefully decorated, a couple of finishing touches such mince pies (thank you Santa was grateful) and Prosecco (I was grateful!) helped make our stay. Given the chance we would stay again.

Another lovely stay at The Stables. A comfortable and well equipped place to stay in a peaceful village. Very good location to be based for exploring the north Norfolk coast. I would recommend Maxine as a great host.

Bridget was a super responsive and helpful host. The cottage was perfect for our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a lovely new years meal. We missed out on using her gorgeous and huge back garden because it was January, but summertime visitors are in for a real treat. Great location!! Great host!!

Yvette's house was cosy and just what we were looking for a small dinner party and as a base to explore the Norfolk coast line.

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

Had a lovely couple of nights stay - beach gorgeous, cottage had great amenities, plenty of space for four of us, beautifully presented. Pub was good but would be preferable if you could book a table in advance. Overall we enjoyed our break very much - very peaceful and convenient for everything. Thank you!

We had a fantastic mini beak at Beech Place. Julie was a great host & was very accommodating of our needs. The complimentary hamper was a nice touch and the information pack provided a variety of recommendations which made planning very easy. Would definitely stay again & recommend to others. Summer Cottage is simply stunning! From the glorious sunrises we saw from the bedroom window each morning to spotting shooting stars of an evening. The cottage is beautiful furnished, well equipped, toasty warm and homely. You’re only a short drive to superb local eateries, deli’s and, of course, an array of beach walks. There are also beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Siobhan offered us extensive advice on where to eat which was most appreciated. Summer cottage is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle but only short drives to spend the day and return to this gorgeous retreat. And return we will….. We have stayed in many places in Norfolk but Summer Cottage, for us - gave us the pure escapism we wanted, beautiful woodland on one side with views out over glorious rolling countryside. Lastly, Siobhan is a lovely host & super communicative. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return to Summer Cottage - Simply perfect - x

A little peace of heaven. Just what you need to recharge your batteries. There’s no one around just deer and birds, we walked in the woods and chilled. We took enough food for the week and just hibernated. We have very happy dogs who just loved the space. It was our second visit will be back.
