Mariela's place was perfect if you're traveling alone or with one other person. The studio apartment like setting is attached to the side of her home with your own private entrance. For those who like a very large bathroom this bathroom was much larger than what I needed. The small kitchenette was perfect for cooking simple healthy meals if you want to save money instead of paying top dollar for prepared foods at restaurants. There is also is a large charcoal grill and picnic table in the backyard. You cannot ask for a better host. Mariela is very kind person and very responsive. I would definitely go back!

This is my second time staying at Alberto’s place, amazing. Quiet, clean, comfortable and very private. I love it because of the easy access to the expressway, Harlingen and Brownsville are a few minutes away. His place fees like my home away from home, I love it!
