Monthly Rentals in Old Town, Alexandria

The place was great and in a great location. We loved everything about the apartment however did have a few issues with some of the "rules". This is the only place I've ever rented that I've been told if anyone else comes into the place other than my wife and myself we would result in "immediate eviction". We were in town for a wedding for my niece and her and her fiance wanted to stop by and visit. I found it asinine that I had to tell her sorry you can't come in or I will be evicted. They have a beautiful private roof top with patio seating for 5, however no one else can visit. We were also going to arrive 30 minutes prior to check in by an Uber and had 2 large suitcases along with 2 other bags and a suit bag and asked if we could check in early and her response was yes but we would have to pay the $50 early check in fee. I would think that we would atleast be able to drop our bags so we wouldn't have to drag them around the streets. Other than that, no issues.

Kayne's home was just as the photos, I appreciated how clean and nice the whole place was. I had a private parking spot behind the home for a small car. Place was perfect for 3-4 people with a spacious bedroom and full kitchen, and a smaller living room. Nice perks are the 2.5 bathrooms, a washer/dryer combo and an air mattress to use. After a day of walking 4+ hours around DC and Alexandria, the home's location was quiet enough to relax (even close to busy Henry St). Kanye's place was only 4 blocks away from the metro station taking you to DC or to Alexandria's King St. In walking distance there's some decent restaurants and a mile away a Trader's Joes. Communication with the hosts was very responsive, I did not have any issues. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

Hard to beat! Easy bike commute to King Street/Old Town Metro, Whole Foods, all of Old Town Alexandria. Very easy access to the interstate. Room was comfortable, bathroom was as advertised with great hot water and water pressure. Really nice to have a washer and dryer in the suite.
