Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Old Orchard Beach

Rebecca was a great host and very responsive. The place is charming and cozy and was spotless when we arrived. My family and I enjoyed our two night stay and wished we could stay for another night. Backyard is huge and was perfect for our dog. The location was quiet. We are happy and satisfied with the place 😊

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

The house suited us perfectly! We were 6 adults and one kid and one dog. It was definitely enough space. The basement was such a bonus. Beds were comfortable. AC units in the bedrooms and minisplit in living room. The enclosed deck was awesome, so was the fenced in yard. We used the fire pit a couple times. We walked into Town a couple times (not the grandparents - it's not for everyone!) and to the dog park daily. The dog park is so great. The host was quick to respond to every question I had. Beach chairs for your use (and bikes, but we didn't use). Would stay again!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was as shown in the pictures. The home was clean, sunny & uncluttered. We were a short drive from downtown Freeport but felt very much away from it all when relaxing in the house. We were pleasantly surprised by the view of the cove when we got up in the morning and the cool ridge behind the house! It was a great family vacation, and we will come again!

This was our 4th year staying at Sandy Cove to celebrate Christmas with our entire family. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate overnight stays. We love the 2 dining room tables and refrigerators. We had a small issue with a clog in the kitchen sink. I reached out to Mike and he sent someone over to fix it within a few hours. We hope to stay again next year!

We had an excellent stay at Mariella’s place. The cleanliness stood out to us and was much appreciated. Mariella was very accommodating and there for any questions or concerns. We felt right at home. Her home was in great location of a neighborhood for comfort and privacy while also be very convenient and a short ride to downtown Portland. I would recommend her home.

My friend and I had a great stay at Susan’s place. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood with great food options nearby and it was also quite walkable to the downtown area for us.

Margaret is an extremely pleasant host. Our experience couldn't have been better from booking thru checkout. Our stay completely met our expectations and was perfect for our family of 4 (all grown individuals) and our dog. We had the pleasure of running into Margaret and her family and that was a complete validation of the quality of our fantastic experience. Thank you!

We only stayed one night because we had to pick up our son from the airport which is about 15 min from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It's close to lots of restaurants. Rudi was an excellent host and responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

We felt instantly at home at Ian’s place. It’s inviting and warm and decor is just the right amount of funky and cool. It was comfortable for four people. It makes a great home base for Portland.

Our stay at Sameer’s is something we look forward to annually. The condo is right on the beach with beautiful views from the balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to stay in and cook. Alternatively, Sameer has provided many local recommendations for going out as well. Sameer is a very responsive and kind host and check in/check out directions were clear. highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect location. We could walk to everything. Our stay was comfortable and the accommodations were outstanding. Would definitely revisit and recommend to anyone.

Beautiful and super CLEAN condo in a great location! We especially appreciated little touches like Christopher's art work on the walls along with the awesome shower. Will stay here again!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is perfect for a visit to Portsmouth. It’s roomy (2 nice, simple bedrooms) and perfectly located. We walked everywhere with the exception of a visit to a nearby town. All the restaurants and shops are within a short walk. The North Church and Market Sq give a nice view from the living room. Beds are super comfy (memory foam) with nice linens. Owners instructions are detailed and perfect to allow for easy check in. Parking is available at a paid garage (pricey) or a 5 minute walk away for free. Lastly, the fridge and pantry had snacks, water, some tasty cheese & bread from local proprietors and good coffee/creamer. The bathroom was also well stocked, even having small toiletries available if you left anything behind. A+ all around. It’s not “fancy” but it is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. PS: It’s mentioned in the description, but this place IS NOT accessible for mobility impaired. Lots of steps to the apt.

This was a great spot for me and my family to celebrate the new year! The host was very responsive and helpful with the questions I had. The view was amazing and the unit was very clean and well stocked. The pool was great and we were able to swim before check in and after check out. Check in was super easy at the front desk, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed at Dave’s condo a couple of times now. Each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is in such a wonderful location in South Portland and Dave is very communicative and friendly with anything we may need. Definitely recommend a stay if you’re looking to check out the Portland area and enjoy some beach time while you’re at it!
