Awesome place! If you've always wanted to stay in a 5-star AirBnB, this is it. Spotlessly clean, great surroundings, private and very welcoming. Everything was perfect, in great condition and exactly like the listing. We don't give out 5-star ratings very often so you can bet this one is genuine. Very highly recommended.

My family and I love Sandy’s place. Lots of room, so comfortable and very clean! Sandy is so easy to communicate with and is always quick to reply! Close to the beach to take the dogs for a run in the winter months, close to town for restaurants, bowling, shopping. And just a great place to hang out, watch football, play games, or make pizza in the wood fired pizza oven! This is our second stay and we’ll be back.

Our family couldn’t have asked for more from our stay at House of Clare. Location, amenities, cleanliness, and top of the line appliances were clear from the get-go. I’m not joking when I say this home is better equipped than our own home — hosts know what they’re doing and have truly thought of everything. This was the perfect first vacation environment for our newborn, my mother, and my sister’s family. We hope to return!

A perfect Thanksgiving Getaway! My family had an unforgettable Thanksgiving at Maria’s property! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home - perfect for a holiday stay. The check in process was seamless and Maria was extremely responsive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The space was spotless and exactly as described in the listing, and the kitchen was fully equipped making it easy to prepare our Thanksgiving meal! Being able to meet the host’s sweet dog, horses and chickens was a bonus. We’re so grateful to have spent Thanksgiving there and couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more perfect setting. We’d love to return again!

If you are considering booking this beautiful house, DO IT! I booked it for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday with 6 friends. Everyone had their own room, there were plenty of bathrooms, the kitchen is perfect for making shared meals. The dining room table turned into a puzzle table and we loved the double-sided fireplace. We chatted and read on one side and watched tv on the other. The views are spectacular, and in the summer the porch would be the place to be!! Plenty of parking which is rare for an AirBnB. I had some questions about snow removal and Richard was prompt and clear in his communication with me. He allowed for an early check in and late check out which extended the trip a few hours on each side. Bring bubble bath because there is a gorgeous tub!! I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. The weekend was absolutely magic and we can't wait to return! Thank you so much Richard!!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in this beautiful, peaceful home in Maine, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and surrounded by nature, making it the ideal retreat for relaxation. The atmosphere was calm and serene, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The amenities were top-notch, and every detail of the home was thoughtfully arranged. Whether we were enjoying a cozy evening by the fireplace or taking in the breathtaking views outside, it was truly an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

The house, furniture, and bathrooms were all super clean. The house had most of the cooking essentials needed for a weekend stay and we all felt right at home! The furniture wasn't worn out, and the house was well cared for.

Deborah is first and foremost a wonderful host! She goes above and beyond. The space has a warm and charming feel. You feel like an honored guest. The only thing I would say is if you are looking for a longer stay the kitchen corner is right next to the families. Only a light door separates you from each other. There is a small microwave and two burners. I felt I had to be quiet. But they are such warm and wonderful people I would highly recommend this cozy spot in Cape Elizabeth !

Who knew that inside an assuming building is a massive, quirky and cute space? It’s also in the perfect location close to restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and the space to host friends or family. The host was responsive. As someone who has lived in Portland and in many historic homes, it’s very normal for even the best renovated places to have a couple of more rustic details (wear & tear). The previous review disgracing this place is by someone who clearly this was not a match (they should have stayed in a modern hotel). It’s obvious that the host has been incrementally restoring this place and putting their own sweat in to make it a great airbnb. I would definitely stay here again. No question.

Excellent stay over about ten days. Very convenient location. Just a block from the Amtrak station. Quaint downtown that's getting heavy development. Plenty of dining options. Central heating works really well. Older building, but this 2nd floor unit is comfortable and cozy. Free use of shared washer and dryer in the basement. Travis is pretty accessible if you need to reach him for any reason.

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. Thank you Valle and Dave!

Lovely apartment downtown Portland with lots of stuff to do nearby

Very convenient to everything that Portland has to offer. Street parking was available within a block or so no matter the time we looked. If you are over six feet tall, the ceilings in the bedrooms might feel low.

We had such a great time staying at Michelle’s. It was a fair rate for being so close to all of the downtowns offerings. Super quick walk to our favorite, Empire. Her place was clean and inviting. It served us as a great landing pad for our short stay. Will definitely try to stay here again for future shows.
