Cottage vacation rentals in Old Orchard Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Bailey and Diane’s place and they were very responsive and helpful hosts. The home is in a great location, walkable to local attractions and full of thoughtful touches. We loved the little covered in porch, perfect for book reading!

Michelle's place was our 19th airbnb (and a couple of stays with another company) and is our hands down favorite. The location is ideal, exactly as described. The house is small but very well designed and equipped. It never felt cramped. Michelle provides everything you might need with no extra clutter. There are so many thoughtful touches from dog toys and treats to snacks and coffees and even a bottle of wine. We enjoyed sipping coffee and reading at the ocean front windows. We had to leave early because of a home emergency, and can't wait to get back for a longer stay!

Beautiful location, perfect stay with amazing hosts! This was the perfect getaway for our family and we cannot wait to go back! The location can't be beat and Kate and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth beach cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We visited in the off season so it was very quiet and felt safe. The place is small, but that was expected from the photos. If you are visiting for the beach, extra things like beach towels, a cooler tote, and a wagon to carry items are all available. Everything was super clean and felt well decorated. The beach is within easy walking distance. Sweet little home that was perfect for a weekend away!

The location was amazing. Just a few steps to Crescent Beach. I actually took my coffee down there and watched the sunrise in the morning. So beautiful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Kristin was very responsive and helpful. Don't miss out on the clam chowder at the Lobster Pound less than 100 meters away. We'd definitely come again.

The cottage was very comfortable. While there were many other houses/cottages on the street, it was fairly quiet (especially after Labor Day!), the walk to the beach was easily accessable, the salt marsh behind us was full of egret activity and very relaxing to just sit and watch the natural habitat. We had a wonderfully relaxing week, enjoyed the seafood and went on a couple daytrips to see lighthouses. A great vacation - just what we had hoped for!!!

A large, comfortable home with the ocean in sight! The beach was stunning and the area was so quiet and peaceful in the off-season. Some great restaurants and shops were still open too. We’d love to return one day.

A gem of an Airbnb! The hosts truly thought of everything and this was the perfect place to stay with two young kids; in fact, my son loved the bunkbed and toys so much he refused to go to bed every night! From the tonies box and kids toys, to all the beach and baby gear, there wasn’t one thing they lacked. The place was clean and organized and felt so cozy. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for families! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating as well.

Nice private area, close by to a few small-towns for groceries, gas, etc. Property was very scenic and often only sounds that could be heard were birds. Slept 5 comfortably and never felt crowded. 10/10

Lovely one night stay at this sweet little cottage! Grounds are well-kept, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. AC kept it nice and cool. Convenient location close to a great donut shop- Congdon’s and our favorite ice scream spot- Scoop Deck. Chloe is a gracious host and even granted us a late check-out!

This trip was more than we could've ever wanted! The property was lovely and the hosts were more than accommodating and made sure everything was as comfortable as it could've been! I'd recommend anyone to book with these hosts and I will definitely be booking again!

We had a great stay at Audrey & Seb's place. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. We felt right at home and Rick allowed us to bring our dog and two cats, a bonus not easily found. The rental was cozy but big enough for the two of us and 3 fur babies. The shower was nice and hot, the Wi-Fi was excellent and we had a great Roku TV that we easily streamed our services without issue. The furniture was very big and comfortable with throws available for added warmth. The bedroom was perfect with plenty of space for our clothes, a nice bed and new fresh bedding. The absolutely only challenge was the narrow, curvy driveway! Luckily, we had a good back up camera and the street wasn’t very busy. This minor issue is not enough to deter us from returning for another stay!

Elizabeth was a wonderful host and her home is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The house was spotless, well appointed, and very cozy. The short walk to the beach and town market is really convenient. Her rental is a perfect home base if you’re visiting Portland or exploring the Maine coast nearby.

To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. Everything about the cottage was cozy, clean, charming, and comfortable. Coreen was so accommodating and stayed in good touch when we had a question. The location and set up of the house was stellar. Everything was intuitive from the kitchen to the bathrooms and full set up. The photos accurately depicted the charm of this adorable cottage! We look forward to renting this house again in the future — hopefully in the summer next time so we can catch the summer vibe of this cottage!

Our stay with our two dogs was amazing. We appreciated how well thought out the yard and the dog gates were in order to keep our dogs safe. Thank you very much!!!

Great view and cabin was actually clean. Peaceful week on the lake. The area was fun. Found the alpaca farm open in the weekend close by and got to feed them. Picked the best apples we've ever had at Libbys U Pik not far from cabin. Shopped at the Limerick market and found Shaines of Maine icecream. Tried Black Rasberry and Grapenut yummy on both. They had lots of other specialty items. Fried chicken was great too. Also shopped close by at the Ye Old Sale Shop and found some wonderful vintage treasures. Had a great time at the cabin and surrounding area. Would totally come back this summer to get on the lake in the kayaks when its warmer and have another great week. The porch is the ultimate lake porch. The cats and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed the lake view all week Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Charming vintage cottage. Fantastic location just off route 1 and minutes from downtown Portland. Everything is as described and as pictured. Not fancy but very functional and clean. Quiet neighborhood you can walk around in including a shore road along the bay.
