Monthly Rentals in Okuwa, Kiso District

Very pretty scenery all around the home. The home is in a very remote location, and I didn’t have a car, so I was nervous. But the host was very kind and always willing to take me to see the local sights or get groceries. Thanks for a great stay!

Rei and her family were lovely hosts! Helpful when we arrived late at night, booked taxis as we required them throughout our stay and easy to contact via message whenever necessary. Although they live upstairs we felt we had privacy and space to ourselves. The house is cute and cosy, somewhere we said "I wish we lived here" about more than once throughout our stay. Super close to the ski resort where we had heaps of fun during the day. There isn't food options walkable distance so make sure you pack groceries if you don't come with a car. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Japan!

I visited with my family on a cold day with snow in a very quiet environment, but I had a relaxing time in a very warm house.The bathroom was also large enough to get in with the kids.The room was also spacious, and there were cooking utensils that were convenient for everyone to eat together, and we were able to cook comfortably.I drove there, but I was able to park right next to the house, so it was easy to unload. I visited for Gero sightseeing, but it seems to be convenient for sightseeing in the Takayama area.We had a great time and would definitely like to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Thomas's house. The place was beyond our expections and the host is one of the friendliest we ever encountered. He made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home and even offered his help several times. A true gem, definitely recommended 💎
