Great stay in Naha with a location you can’t beat right in the center of town. We found the room to be great value and very affordable. Be aware that the AC is paid for separately at the rate of 50yen/hour.

It's right in front of the sea. It was easy to communicate because you were in the store in front of you. Good songs and reasonable temperatures were adequate and nice. Quiet and friendly. I am willing to visit again next time.

Manabu‘s place was great to stay, it felt cozy and like a home. We had fresh towels for each day and everything was tidy and clean. The area had lots of sweet cafes and great restaurants, as well as great beaches for snorkelling. Car is strongly recommended.

MyPlace- 1min to port/Free parking/Deluxe twin

MaxRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I enjoyed my brief stay here. The place was clean, and the bathroom was modern and well-kept. The large window gave a great view of the docks and ships. The on-site laundry machines were really handy, and the communal area was such a nice touch with hammocks, tatami seating, and even musical instruments. The only small issue was that I wasn’t aware about the maintenance and scaffolding beforehand, which worried me at first, but the view was only slightly affected. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to others.
The bathroom features a row of sinks with polished faucets and large mirrors above. Natural light filters in through a small window, illuminating the wood flooring. Soap dispensers are positioned on the counters, providing essential amenities.

Standard Twin Room Near the center of Ishigaki Island [Hostel Sun Terrace Ishigaki/Large shared space]

KumikoRating, 5 stars6 months ago
It was a calm and stylish tropical hostel. The building has a stairwell and has an open structure. The room is a private room for privacy. The shower, toilet, and kitchen are shared. Due to the consideration of the staff, it is kept clean. I used it as a couple this time, but I thought it was a hostel that was easy to use even for solo travelers. Also, since the front of the private room is a shared space, I thought we should be considerate of the sound we make in the morning and at night. The staff were friendly and within a reasonable distance. To be honest, it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy in large groups. After the lights go out at night, there are people in the living room who spend a relaxing time. We had a quiet and peaceful time.
An inviting common area features a large whale tail sculpture as a centerpiece, surrounded by wooden seating areas. Soft lighting enhances the spacious environment, while a swing hangs in one corner. A TV and additional seating can be seen in the background, creating a welcoming gathering space.

Ishigaki Guesthouse HIVE Bunk Bed Mixed Dormitory

ChloéRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The location of the place is great, lots of restaurants to eat around, it’s near the bus terminal if you want to visit the island and it’s near the port if you want to visit islands nearby. It’s close to the center if you want to buy some souvenirs. The hotel itself is very clean, the hosts are very friendly, even though not all of them speak english you always find ways to communicate. The 3 things I could point out are : 1- that (as announced) the place is a bit difficult to find, as you can access it through a dark, more or less hidden alley (especially if you get there after sunset) 2- it’s on the 3rd floor without a lift 3- it is a bit noisy with people making noise after 11pm and before 6am, but that cannot really be helped…

Myplace 1 min to port/Free Parking/Female dorm

RachelRating, 5 stars18 months ago
I loved staying at MyPlace. My friend and I used the dorm room and we met many kind and interesting people during our two week stay there. At one point there was an electrical issue due to the typhoon and they immediately went to fixing it as soon as they were alerted to the problem. I loved that the facilities and found it all very cozy and relaxing to stay there, typhoon or no typhoon. It’s close to a convenience store, public transport, and is in walking distance to International Street and a host of other great restaurants and shopping centers. The staff were all friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future!
