House vacation rentals in Ohiopyle

Me and my family got to spend Thanksgiving week here and it was the most cozy place that was equipped with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable! Hosts were very responsive and accommodating as well which made our stay that much better. Highly recommend if you enjoy a bit of time off away from the crowd.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay over Thanksgiving. The location next to the river made for peaceful surroundings, and we felt we had a corner of Grantsville all to ourselves. It’s only a 10-minute drive to New Germany State Park. The house is huge and well furnished, with several much-appreciated (and often overlooked) features such as towel hooks in the bathrooms, clothes hooks in the bedrooms, and laundry baskets. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils we needed. The hot tub was a big hit, and the sauna was an added bonus. Jesse was very responsive to questions and the check-in and check-out procedures arrived when promised. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved this place. It had plenty of room to host my extended family that we haven’t seen in years for Thanksgiving dinner! The kitchen is big enough for cooking big meals and everyone has somewhere to sit. Best Thanksgiving in a long time.

Sarah and Aniket’s Valley house was the perfect host for my sister’s 40th birthday. There wasn’t a detail missed at the house! The cozy fireplace, toiletries, fully-equipped kitchen, and household items like garbage bags and dishwasher tablets made the stay extra easy and convenient. The road outside of the house was busier and closer to the house than anticipated, but it did not impact our restful and perfect weekend! The zen room, sauna, and clean hot tub with extra towels allowed for cozy activities on a chilly and damp fall weekend! We were a short drive to seven springs resort and Falling Waters, but we loved staying in for a night at the house all together as it comfortably accommodated 11 women! We would love to return again someday. Thank you for a beautiful weekend celebrating my sister.

We (3 families) meeting in the middle for Thanksgiving weekend...it was the perfect place ...kitchen had everything we needed...enough room for the kids to play... fire pit for s'mores and a hot tub enjoyed by the adults..so much wildlife...and shopping nearby...the mountain Coaster @ WISP was a huge hit

This was my second year in a row staying at this listing and everything went well. Hosts are very responsive and it was an enjoyable stay! Would recommend and stay again.

James was outstanding and this property was awesome!!! We were in a disparate situation when the host at Hattery Hill Estate in Ligonier double booked 2 groups (us on AirBNB and the other on VRBO). We booked on 10/5/23 and the other group in January 24. They ghosted us for a week prior and then lied to us when both groups arrived at the property at the same time. Don't waste your time with Hattery Hill Estate. We reached out to James at this property and he was incredibly responsive and helpful. He was exceptional and helped us in a very difficult situation. We had 7 families from 5 states arriving by plane and car. We were fortunate to find such honest and high integrity host as James to save the day. He was supportive and flexible with check-in due to the unusual circumstances. Consider this property for a family gathering or group anytime!

Kate's place was Amazing! Are family get together was incredible! Plenty of space for everyone! My wife and I stayed in the Great room !! It was spectacular we felt like a real king and queen. ! definitely recommend!!

Space was beautiful and clean!! Just like the photos- but felt bigger!! We held our family reunion here and the space was perfectly set up to host our large family from the rooms set up to the seating areas all around the house. Everyone loved the views - we got lucky to see snow while we were there!! So peaceful. The host was VERY responsive and provided instructions throughout the home as proactive measures. We would definitely come back.

Great place for our family get together. We really enjoyed the pool and the wrap around porch. I was pleasantly surprised with the loaded kitchen tools that were there. It was a big help since we were preparing daily meals for our family of 11. There is not a central a/c but the individual window units were used and met our needs. It is about 25 minutes from Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, close to Laurel Cavern, Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity and other historical markers. Giant Eagle is about 15 minutes away. It is an older home ( over 100 years old), that is charming and filled with much history and relics. Hosts live close by and are extremely proactive and helpful. We used every space of the home and was comfortable and still had space to spare. Great get together.

Jame’s retreat is clean, spacious, and functional. Our three families of 11 people enjoyed our 3-night stay. Visited both the nearby Hidden Valley and Seven Springs ski resorts due to its awesome location. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we got to prepare meals easily for this large group. Every room fits the description, and the kids love the bunk beds. We really appreciate the opportunity to stay in this unit for a lovely winter gathering.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Seven Springs, PA! The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. The condo had plenty of room for our big family, and we never felt cramped. The only small issue was that the lower master bedroom was a bit chilly, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, which made the stay even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat.

We went as extended family from different locations to spend Thanksgiving together. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of room for all. The home is beautiful and comfortable. Two fridges made it easy to store everything we needed for our meals. Location was great for different activities. The hosts were responsive to any questions. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend!

Great house w plenty of room for all. Walk across the road and a bit to get right on the slopes. Such great communication and well stocked place!

Everything was exactly as described. The host was very quick to respond with any questions I had. The neighbors were so friendly and let me pet their dogs lol But the most important part, the beds were super comfortable! The drive to the ski resort was super easy and quick. I would absolutely book here again.

A very welcoming, clean, cozy space with a good view. Close proximity to ski areas while being affordable. Would recommend.

We had a lovely overnight stop at Nathan and Hannah’s place. It was spotless and well-appointed- we really appreciated not having to buy everything like oil and herbs etc just for one meal so thank you for thoughtfully stocking those things! My daughter enjoyed exploring the games drawer!

Misty is awesome… Very responsive and friendly. The house was just what we needed and the inside was recently remodeled. If you see negative comments about the age of the house I would encourage you to look past them. Yes, the house is old, and so are most in the area. But with old houses comes unique character that in my opinion should be appreciated. Everything worked. We had no issues whatsoever with check in, communications, etc. - we genuinely enjoyed our stay. As a recommendation for the area we stumbled on the Beck Ring-land tavern / Scenery Hill Brewery off of 40 which was such a gem I don’t even know where to start. They had great apps but we looked for a better option for food and stumbled over to the Century Inn across the street for a meal at the bar that exceeded our expectations. Chatting with the owner and locals about the Inn’s history didn’t hurt, either. And if you’re feeling lucky, it’s a 20 minute drive to Lady Luck casino at Nemacolin which is always a good time.

The house had all the things you needed to feel right at home, we did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed, plenty of extra blankets and bath towels.

Pros Location was great for us as it was located right in town and close to everything we needed. We appreciated the fact that we could park 3 cars and did not need to use street parking. The space was large enough for our extended family to stay in one place. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments and extras that were helpful when grabbing food. Note: The front steps to enter the house are very steep. We had two people in our party that have some mobility issues and navigating the front steps was concerning at times. The indoor steps to the second floor were more traditional and did not pose a problem. For most people this will not be an issue, but is worth noting if you have any mobility issues.

Definitely a nice place to stay for a few days,would recommend staying there again.

Sara was so very helpful & quickly responded to our urgent need for a place to stay. Our original AirBNB (booked with a different host) developed a major water leak & the water had to be shut off. Then we found Sara, our guardian angel! This trip was a surprise gift for my husband to visit multiple Frank Lloyd Wright properties. From the minute I booked Sara’s place (SPS) she was extremely quick and helpful when we needed a last minute place to enjoy our vacation with our family. She really helped accommodate us into a property she had available & saved the day for us to enjoy the remainder of our vacation! She called me right away and took care of us as if we were her own family! The home was very clean, peaceful and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked & so were the toiletries in both bathrooms. This home had easy access to major attractions in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful host! She even helped advocate for us with AirBNB. THANK YOU SARA!!

We had an incredible stay at this charming private cabin, which made our celebration of my daughter’s graduation from WVU truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The thoughtful welcome board greeted us with a personal touch, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine waiting for us—such a nice gesture! The cabin itself was immaculately maintained, providing us with a cozy and private retreat. Every detail was taken care of, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our time together. We also appreciated the personal note left for us, which added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. It’s clear that the hosts take great pride in their property and genuinely care about their guests' experiences. Overall, this cabin was the perfect setting for our family celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting memories.
