Cabin vacation rentals in Ohiopyle

The cabin was welcoming and very clean. The separate game room was an added bonus. We didn't get to make use of the lake being there in April but the view was pretty. We enjoyed the hot tub with our morning coffee and in the evening under the stars. An easy drive to Ohiopyle and Confluence. Rachel was very responsive to our many questions and takes pride in the property.

Amazing log house on a very beautiful property. Secluded and peaceful. Hosts are very friendly and responsive. The house is well kept and very comfortable. The sauna and hot tub are amazing. One of the best AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in!

We had the BEST time at Mad Men Lake House. We had kids with us aged 6-18, and they were never bored. Between the pool and ping-pong, swings, air hockey, and the other fun games, they were always having a blast! The kayaks and life vests were perfect, with plenty of options to take everyone out on the lake. Our dogs also loved having a completely closed off upper deck to lounge on with no fear of them going on an unexpected adventure outside. We enjoyed local hiking spots as well. Wish we could spend more time there! Thank you to Rebecca and family for thinking of all of the little details, from decor to amenities to make this an unforgettable family vacation.

Perfect space for a group getaway! This was the third year we stayed here and it was great again. There are lots of places nearby to go hiking - Laurel Hill State Park is a good pick. We also enjoy staying in to play games, relax in the hot tub, sit by the firepit, and do jigsaw puzzles on the dining room table.

The house was great! The location is 8 minutes or less from the mountain and there are a ton of things to do. The house is just as advertised and the hosts are incredibly friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful couple nights here. The house itself looked just like the pictures and was pristine. The sweet touches like local beer in the fridge and supplies to make s’mores were so appreciated. The scavenger hunt on the trails was so fun, and there are some great local restaurants.

We are super picky about cleanliness and this house was pristine and incredibly well equipped. Simple instructions were easy to find for everything and the house was really well organized. We were there at an odd time of year so not a ton was open, but had plenty to do within 10 min of the house and there were also things that were walkable. The only thing that could make it better was if it was on the lake! Would definitely recommend.

The house is very cozy and has lots of space, felt like home. I celebrated my birthday with my friends and we all had the best time and fun. Thanks for the host for hosting us, recommended! Will be back soon 🫶🏼

What an amazing weekend get away!! Everything was just as described and the location was perfect for us. So many activities in the area! We chose to go to the winery for some taste testing and went for a nature walk through the woods! The hot tub worked properly and was amazing and relaxing! We had a fire going the whole weekend and was able to purchase wood in walking distance. Inside the cabin was very homey, clean and comfy! We all laughed at the Wi-Fi password 😂 It was such a laid back weekend and this place was a perfect country fit for what we needed! The neighbors were sketchy but we didn’t let that bother us! The house amazing and beautiful especially in the daytime. There was some trouble finding the house, but check it was a breeze once it was located. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful weekend at Al's place. The cabin was perfect for my peaceful time in Frostburg and surrounding areas. The hosts were informative and provided areas to see the sunset and sunrises. It was too cold to use the pool but the offer was there. I will be back.

Wonderful long weekend in Deep Creek. Perfect for someone visiting in wheelchair as well, I had messaged the lodge and they made sure we had a clear path to the front entrance. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a stove in the cabin but we made everything work. Would highly recommend

Beautiful home that made my family and I feel right at home. Nancy was very responsive to any message I sent and made sure my family and I had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Conveniently located to Wisp about a 20 minute drive to the resort. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have children too. The kids had a blast with the games and toys that come along with the house.

We loved our stay at the Spruce Cabin! We were impressed as soon as we got in the door at how nice the cabin was and how comfortable the space was to stay in, Mike and Marta had everything we needed in the cabin to make our stay relaxed and easy from cookware to linens, a grill, and fire put with firewood nearby. Check-in/Check-out were quick and easy. Amenities were above and beyond what was described and of good quality/easy to use! We loved the location - very close to anything and everything you want to do in the Deep Creek Lake/Oakland area, but tucked just far enough away from the main road, that it was peaceful and private! We’ve already recommended the Spruce Cabin to friends and family, and would highly recommend it to anyone else who happens to read this review!
