House vacation rentals in Oaxaca

Spacious house as described, he gave us access before check-in time, in general everything was fine.

Marina’s place. Even though it was a big place just for us (my husband and I) the house itself makes you feel at home. From the decor to the furniture. Clean and spacious. The shower has a decent water pressure which it can be a problem in Mexico. The house does not have AC but each room has a fan and you can open the windows to let the air in. The view from the porch it’s amazing. There’s a small tv room on the second floor that’s where we spent our evenings watching tv. Marina went above and beyond to make sure we experienced Oaxaca to the max. From restaurants, to what plates to try to experience the Moles, places to shop hand made tapestry, what places to visit and where to eat along the way, we definitely were exhausted but grateful to experience the culture, the museums, the food, the history as much as we could thanks to Marina. She’s been the best host we’ve ever had, and the house was like I said home away from home. We’re so grateful and definitely stay there again!

Hitzel was an amazing host. Very accessible and always willing to help and answer our questions from the beginning. His instructions for entering the house were very clear and he was attentive to us until we settled in. He even recommended us to a doctor when several of us got sick. Very clean and nice, the apartments are really nice. Jalatlalco is a beautiful neighborhood in Oaxaca and I highly recommend staying at El Calvario.

Olivia was very helpful, we let her know we were arriving early, and she helped us with leaving our luggage before check-in time. He also gave us tips about Oaxaca. The house is 2 houses in 1, so it's very spacious and has amenities that did make a big difference (such as a water filter). You can walk downtown, super close and near the most famous restaurants and Santo Domingo. I didn't read it well, and I was guided by the photos, but it's important to note that the beds are DOUBLE because I imagined them to be king size in the photos. But everything was great, an excellent host and a very nice house

It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Good location. Self check-in, the host was always available in case anything was needed.

The apartment is exactly as described. It has very good towels, mattresses and cotton sheets. We were very pleased.

An amazing time in Oaxaca! Our rental felt like home and the team did a great job taking care of anything we needed. Eunice quickly responded to all of our questions and requests. The garden especially was such a beautiful place to spend time. Great for dodging the afternoon heat or quiet mornings before our adventures for the day.

the place is quiet and really comfortable 20 min from the center of Oaxaca, it is only 100 meters of terracería before arriving but a sedan passes smoothly the house is very large and private pool.

Property is great for families, super walkable to shops and restaurants, and the hosts are responsive.

This is a very unique and special place to stay in Oaxaca. The location is perfect for getting into Central Oaxaca. It was wonderful to have the alfresco living in March when it was warm and we could use the dip pool every day. It was great to hang out by the pool upstairs and look out at the lights of Oaxaca in the evening and watch the sunrise in the morning. Damien was very fast to respond when we needed a ride to the airport and in general, we would absolutely rent this place again when we return. We found that the kitchen and the upstairs area provided ample group gathering places for our family. We really appreciate the loving restoration of the house and the traditional architectural details.

This charming home is in a wonderful neighborhood, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hosts shared fantastic recommendations for where to eat and what to explore, making our stay even more special. The backyard pool is a peaceful retreat—a perfect escape from the city. We truly wish we had more time here. The hosts' warmth, care, and pride in their community made the experience truly heartwarming.

The house is very nice and thoughtful. The size of the 2-bedroom beds seemed small to us. Overall the stay was very pleasant, everything was very clean and tidy.

This Accom was outstanding My husband and 3 teenaged children loved the spaciousness. We used one room as a loungeroom to hang out together. Would be perfect for larger groups as each room has its own beautiful bathroom. This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. The beds are so comfy we really enjoyed our stay

The moment we entered the Casa, we knew this place was extra special. We were greeted with a hand written note welcoming us in addition to one of the most beautiful cakes we have ever eaten. The property was private while at the same time hidden within Criollo's restaurant grounds, so eating at the restaurant was just a few steps outside our door. The Casa pictures do not do this property justice. And there's snacks, waters, towels thoughtfully and strategically placed where you need it. The steam shower was absolute bliss, and the courtyard plunge pool and hammock was a nice area to hideaway and decompress.

Everything was fine only thing missing was A/C on third floor.

Gorgeous and perfect location! Sara was super easy and quick to communicate with (and sent us great recommendations). She made sure the hot tub was warm when we arrived and the place had everything we needed for an excellent stay. The location is great - walking distance to the center of town, but peaceful tranquility to get away from it too. Highly recommend staying here!!

Excellent house, beautiful in every way and in perfect condition It's HUGE. Our trip was 8 people and we had plenty of space The beds are super comfortable and delightful. In Oaxaca it is cold in winter and the duvets on the beds cover you wonderfully, so you don't feel the cold when you are lying down The jacuzzi is a delight. The outdoor space (garden) is beautiful, we didn't use the pool because it was winter and we preferred to go downtown for a walk The kitchen and other common rooms are in perfect condition, very nice furniture, as well as comfortable The garage is perfect for 2 or more cars Lorena's service is spectacular, precise, specific, clear instructions. Super adaptable, we asked for certain things and she was happy to provide them She has sheets with recommendations for restaurants and places of interest in Oaxaca We knew it was far from downtown, and since we had a car, that wasn't a problem We plan to return to Oaxaca and stay in this same house Many thanks

The house is located 15/20 minutes from downtown Oaxaca, depending on traffic. The hosts are very attentive, kind all the time. They left us fruit and passion fruit juice as a courtesy. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped so you can make and cook whatever you want. The house is beautiful and has everything you need if you are looking to relax and visit the center only to eat and/or for specific moments. The pool is clean and the garden is very well maintained. Clean towels available, as well as soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. We will definitely be back there on our next visit to Oaxaca. Nothing bad to say about the house or the hosts. Quite the opposite.

Utopia offers stunning views and the staff is incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!
