Farmstay vacation rentals in Northwest Indiana

This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in! It was a beautiful house with plenty of beds and rooms. Everything was clean and easy to find. It was a beautifully taken care of older home: clean, solid, and plenty of space. We appreciated how close it was to everything and how peaceful it was. We’ll definitely be back for future girls weekends!

Recently had to return to Indiana to attend a funeral for a family member that lived in Demotte. It is generally very hard to find a space large enough to accommodate a family of 10 people (plus their own families) on such a short notice, but this place was everything we needed and more. The ample space and beds allowed all of us to be close, yet comfortable, for our brief stay. The space is private and well suited towards family gatherings and quiet vacations. Thank you for allowing us to share in the Green Lodge.

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

wow! this place is dog and people paradise. the yard is beautiful and spacious for our dogs to run - they stay close and it look amazing with the snow. love her style and felt very cozy and at home! Had what we needed and gave helpful suggestions and tips. thank you and would love to stay again!

We’ve stayed at this little house in the woods multiple times now and it’s been a pleasure every time and every season. The house has a perfect mix of amenities while still feel feeling tranquil and leaving space for you to enjoy the surrounding nature. Since our last visit in Dec 2023, Jason & Ana have also made updates to the property to freshen up the floors and bathroom which looks great! We’ll definitely be back :)

This cabin stay was exactly as described and super charming! We were only there for one night but the area was very peaceful and we enjoyed saying hi to our adorable sheep neighbors. Linda, the host, gave great instructions and the cabin was easy to access. Wish we had time to stay a little longer! Thanks, Linda!

After looking through so many Airbnb listings, I chose Sarah's Pond House for a peaceful birthday weekend with my partner. The house and the Tryon Farm area have a unique charm. We loved hiking through the neighborhood and appreciated the thoughtful communal touches throughout. When we weren't exploring the nearby beaches, trying out local restaurants, or checking out downtown, we spent our time by the outdoor fire pit or relaxing by the wood-burning stove inside. The home is cozy and well-equipped, though there wasn’t hot water in the main bedroom’s shower (the other shower worked great!). I’d let Sarah know ahead of time that I’d be proposing, and she was kind enough to leave a bottle of champagne for us at check-in—a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. We’re looking forward to coming back with our family to experience even more of what the area has to offer.

We really enjoyed our stay! We especially enjoyed having a garage and plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house was very comfortable and peaceful.

Everything was wonderful! The home was clean and had everything needed for a stay away from home. It was very peaceful to be out in the country with the beautiful surroundings and was nice to see the animals wandering around. Would love to stay again when in the area! Thank you!

This was our second stay at Keller Farm! Our group of 8 plus a pup were made to feel right at home with the open layout, cozy couch and fireplace, plenty of beds and bathrooms, and a kitchen with everything you will need. We love being surrounded by nature and we even had snow during our visit to make things extra cozy. This place is just perfect. We look forward to next year!

Charming rural farmhouse setting, with animals on site, great especially if you have children (grandchildren) as we did. Good opportunity to unwind in pastoral locale while still close enough to city establishments. One thing to note is that downstairs sleeping accommodations, while excellent for a group or parents/children, is not isolated entirely from the main level which means light and/or sound could be an issue if younger children are asleep. On a whole, highly recommended!!

The Black Barn is an absolutely gorgeous, one-of-a-kind place - a real gem. We could have spent our entire weekend just exploring the nooks and crannies of the quirky building and delving into its delightful collection of books, but there were also lots of animals to meet, many enjoyable woodland walks, take-home treats from the farm store, and the wonderful wood-fired sauna. Brett and Molly were amazing hosts, and we loved learning about the farm. Can't wait to be back!

Linda and Doug were exceptional hosts. Very warm and welcoming, gave great suggestions for to-do’s/food in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfy! We hiked through the woods and had a fire - perfect overnight getaway. The place felt isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely revisit! Thank you both so much for such a warm welcome.

Absolutely wonderful - we will definitely be back. Very easy to forget this is the lower portion of a house! So much space - our stay was a much needed mini vaca!

All of us were in disbelief that we stumbled upon this gem. From the kitchen to the bathrooms to the outside gardens and decks the attention to detail was commendable. Top notch appliances and walk in showers and lighting and extremely high ceilings. The house looked like a farm house built 100 years ago however the recent update gives all the modern conveniences. Beautiful hardwoods with absolutely no squeaks and no smells. We are looking to book next year!

Such a unique and comfortable place to stay! Our family was delighted with Scott and Mindy’s place. It was perfect for our group! Very convenient location so close to both the quaint town of three oaks and the entire New Buffalo and Lakeside area!

Absolutely gorgeous Victorian home in an amazing spot. Wow, it snowed while we were there so we took advantage and made some snow angels! The only thing we found as a surprise was the listing as 4 bedrooms, but one was more of an open area to go through to get to another bedroom. It was not an issue for us, I would love to stay again and highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! It was a perfect cozy winter get away. The trails on the property were great to explore and I loved being able to dabble with the house art supplies. The view from the house are amazing as well and we saw a ton of cool birds and lots of deer too!

Great place, not far from lots of shopping, events, and food. The house fit our party of 6 but be aware there are only two bedrooms and the third bed is in the living room. this was not a problem for us and the Woodstove gave the place a cozy feel

it was absolutely adorable! and smelt so clean in every room. the decor was just so unique and the host was very responsive!

Rebecca‘s place was a lovely little getaway for a girls weekend. It is not far from town and makes you feel like you’re out in the country. The extra addition of the chickens roaming around and the sheep were fun and this would be a great place for kids. Hosts were very responsive, helpful and left us fresh eggs in the fridge. We were very pleased with our stay.

Nicely appointed apartment, roomy with plenty of space for our stuff, and having a washer and dryer was a nice bonus. We appreciated the snacks and provisions in the full kitchen after our long drive. I especially loved the location which allowed us to reach our family even during the worst of the lake effect snow, and the mud room sure was handy! I wanted to be able to wander the trails more, but the frigid wind had different ideas. We hope to come back; I can explore next time! Thanks for everything!

We had a very peaceful weekend away at Cathy and Larry's loft. We have stayed at their other place as well several months ago and it has always been peaceful and stress-free. The loft at Cathy's farm is in a private area tucked away in the perfect spot. The washer and dryer was a wonderful addition! Thank you for such a great experience!
