A peaceful cosy cottage

JulianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Spacious and warm cottage in a great location for exploring beautiful Northumberland. Bellingham is a great place to stay with pubs, places to eat, co-op, butchers, etc. We loved the Hareshaw Linn walk to the waterfall, followed by a visit to Tea on The Train, which is a fun way to have lunch on an old Inter City train carriage! Kielder Observatory is only 30 minutes away for unbeatable stargazing. What a fantastic trip! We will look for Norma's cottage again on our next visit to Northumberland.

Large farmhouse with valley views in rural setting

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Follions is a great large house for a family/friends get together. Lots of space inside and out and plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook up a feast for everyone. There was a slight issue with the heating when we arrived but Richard answered our call straight away and talked us through getting it fixed and after that the house was lovely and warm the rest of the weekend. Great selection of games and dvds too!

The Annexe

TeresaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely few days in The Annexe. It was clean, tidy and very nicely decorated. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us. The beds were cosy and comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities that we needed. The host was helpful and quick to respond. I had read a few things about the parking but it was not an issue and clear instructions were provided beforehand. Would absolutely recommend and would use again.

Spacious and bright cottage with fabulous views

LucyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a relaxing few days at Ireby cottage. The house itself was extremely spacious, light and bright with views over the farmland. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. The dog was made welcome with a handy towel, water bowl and a few treats. The enclosed garden was a bonus for the dog. We did find it tricky to walk the dog on nearby roads as there are no footpaths. However after speaking to Phil we found a suitable walk through the farm. The kitchen is very well equipped and all the appliances have straightforward instructions. The two bathrooms were clean and had plenty of space and storage. The water pressure is a bit slow but the showers were lovely and hot. Morpeth is a beautiful town with plenty of walks, shops and places to eat. We also visited Alnwick, Newcastle and Bamburgh - all within easy reach of the cottage. All in all it was a fantastic stay, and we came home refreshed. We would definitely recommend this property.

Modern Farm Cottage

DebbieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our visit to Prior House Farm. It's in a brilliant location and is an absolutely lovely property. Really well equipped and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. So many local attractions nearby as well - we visited Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne, and also enjoyed a boat trip on the River Tweed. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Millis Guest Suite

Absolutely amazing stay with Michelle. Michelle was very responsive to any message and exceptionally friendly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and lovely touches were added such as essentials and a great welcome pack. The reason for our stay was because we were stall holders at the Rigg and Furrow for the Forage Easter market and Michelle made a special trip to come and say hello which was absolutely lovely of her. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much x

This cottage is the perfect get away. Very thoughtfully furnished and equipped, you have everything you need for a fantastic rural retreat, close to stunning coastal scenery. Scott is very attentive and eager to ensure that you have a great stay. There is so much to explore in this area - three days wasn't enough! The country lanes around the house are completely quiet and even when visiting tourist hot spots over the Easter break, Northumberland always feels welcoming and never crowded.
