Cottage on Stunning Country Estate (zero CO2)

MartinRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Lovely little getaway for our golfing holiday as a base, set between Jedburgh and Denholm. A private garden and cosy living space, it was as described on the listing. Marjorie was a welcoming host, and was very responsive to our queries, and was more than happy to help with local recommendations. A beautiful setting if after walking, a quiet getaway or a location to pick for golf as we did.

Spacious and bright cottage with fabulous views

KerrieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The place was beautifully decorated and there was a large Christmas tree in the living room which was lovely and festive. The family had so much space to move around and open the presents on Christmas morning. Our german shepherd dog and dachshund had a great time in the garden. There were some stunning sunrises to wake up to in the morning over the rolling hills. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Christmas dinner. We would love to go back again soon!

Countryside home in County Durham

MareaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family enjoyed our stay at Congburn Mill House near Durham. It was only a short drive to World Heritage listed Durham Cathedral, Castle and major shopping centres. The walking trails around the Mill House were great for exploring the beautiful countryside. Jane had provided a warm welcoming home with beautifully decorated Christmas tree, home made rocky road, mulled wine and sparkling non- alcoholic option. The house was beautifully presented and Jane made sure that we were comfortable.

This was a delightful cottage in the countryside but within close proximity to local attractions, beautiful beaches, amenities in a beautiful part of England. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and attractively furnished. The host, Scott gave very clear instructions for location/access, information to support a comfortable stay and information on the locality with things to see and do. He was also very responsive to the very minor queries that we had. Thank you for a great stay, would stay again and would recommend.

Serenity Lodge Otterburn with Hot Tub

We had an amazing stay at Serenity Lodges. A lovely getaway a 25 minute walk away from Otterburn, which is small and doesn’t have much but has a lovely restaurant and very scenic. The lodge itself was absolutely amazing, very clean, spacious, and had everything you could need and more. The actual site itself was very quiet which was lovely and had some really nice walks on the land. Emily was very helpful and responsive when we had any issues and helped solve them as quick as possible. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve been to! A truly wonderful retreat - especially in the height of summer when the coast is full! We absolutely loved walking out of an evening, watching hares, buzzards, deer, bats and even a curlew and tawny owl. Every detail of this luxurious Airbnb has been carefully thought through.
