Vacation rentals with a kayak in North Yorkshire

Had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Will definitely be back as we loved it so much. The lodge was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! Stunning lodge, big private garden and beautiful, quiet surroundings. Easy check in and check out too. Host is helpful and responsive. 10/10 stay!

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.

Wow! What a gem. We had a wonderful time at Willow cottage. The cottage and grounds are beautiful. There's so much to explore! Our children loved the park, pedalo, tree house and animals. We loved the log burner and outdoor fire pit. The cottage is very well equipped with good quality essentials and the entire cottage is spotless! We especially appreciated the welcome basket of delicious goodies. Hilary is a wonderful host and has mastered being on hand for any questions you might have but giving you total privacy. We were encouraged to explore the grounds and Hilary even took the children down to see the animals one morning. There are lovely walks in the surrounding area. We hope to return.

The location of The Arc takes some beating, to take a cup of tea outside first thing and watch the river begins a day in peace and tranquility. The boat, the surroundings are spotlessly clean, well ordered and good amenities. We all slept well in comfortable beds, no noise as guests are required to respect ‘neighbours’ after 11pm. It’s definitely one of my favourite happy places

Superb stay at Moat Cottage. Shanie and Tom were great hosts and very helpful. Cottage was beautifully presented and had lovely views all host recommendations on places to visit were fantastic highly recommend Fountain Abbey, Newby Hall and Mother Shiptons plus the York Railway Muesum and Chocolate Factory if you have kids. The Crown Inn at Roecliffe was superb for food with a great menu. Thanks Shanie and Tom we had a great holiday.

Loved my stay in the cabin and slept so well. The moon, the trees, the canal, Hebden bridge and the amazing walks. A great stay. Kay and Paul were really lovely and seemed very caring. They left me to have lots of space and autonomy whilst letting me know if I needed anything they were on hand. Thanks for a great stay!

Highly recommend the cottages. You will have all you require for a comfortable stay. Great for pets, super walking space and the bonus of being able to purchase fresh eggs. The air display from RAF Leeming is fantastic. Super choice of games to use and great pub with amazing food just down the road which is also pet friendly too. Lovely places to visit nearby.

the Hosts was great the location perfect for a quiet weekend away only a very short drive to shops and town centre the indian takeaway was absolutely amazing the Black Cardamon would certainly go again

An absolutely idyllic place to stay. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and wonderful walks from the cottage. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely beds and linen. A spacious yet cosy holiday home with lovely decorative touches. The view out of the back of the cottage is fabulous. Feels a million miles away from anyone but actually very close to Ripon and local attractions. Shanie and Tom are welcoming and friendly hosts, yet left us in peace while staying. The welcoming touches to settle in and the information pack provided were really excellent. We also enjoyed using the garden and play area which was fine for kicking a ball around in! Thank you for a lovely few days. I would love to return and would definitely recommend.
