We had a lovely peaceful stay here. The surroundings are beautiful but the location is also convenient for getting out & about. Our children loved seeing the chickens & Helen kindly let the check for eggs each morning which was their highlight. We would recommend.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

What a place and what a host! Feels like we’ve found a gem. The location is simply stunning and so peaceful! The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a real treat and the views - just wow! If you are looking for a retreat close to all the highlights of the cost - this is the place. Steve is an absolute super star. The kids loved him and he couldn’t do enough for us - filling the fridge with goodies, lending the kids fossil hammers and just being so helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and getting to know the two dogs. They were in tears when we had to leave. We will be back and have left feeling so rested, relaxed and happy! Had a great visit! Very fortunate for John to be understanding and allow us to film our final student short film. John was always very quick to answer any questions, he was very understanding of filming which is always appreciated. The location was beautiful with some lovely surrounding scenery. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Richard’s barn! The place is located in a beautiful area – perfect for sightseeing and long hikes in nature. The barn itself is cozy and very well equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy your time. The indoor fireplace adds a lovely atmosphere, and the hot tub is a fantastic bonus after a day of exploring. The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to many great trails and local attractions. Richard is an absolutely lovely host – super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Thank you for hosting us. We stayed Swallows nest for a night whilst visiting the coast. Very clean and had all the amenities you’d need. Beautiful surroundings and what a view from the patio. Great location for visiting Scarborough

Really enjoyed staying in the pod, the location is absolutely perfect and incredibly peaceful. Adam and Emma were great hosts and were really accommodating responding to any queries instantly. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing get away.

A beautiful house, in a glorious location, overlooking a golf course. Tom and Sarah were great hosts, who responded quickly to any queries. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was great to gather and relax in. Beds were very comfortable and linen was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus and great to spend time in on a cold winter evening! Very happy to recommend to other potential visitors.

Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the cottage. Check in details Sophie provided in advance really helpful and clear. The cottage was beautiful! So many lovely touches that made it feel homely and special and the hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

This is a perfect place for a couple to take a break away from everyday life. The cottage is full of character and the local area is renowned for its natural beauty. Alyson is a perfect host - ready and willing to engage in friendly conversation but never intrudes on your privacy. She is always willing to share her local knowledge when it is requested. The enclosed garden is large and completely secure for a dog to run around in. I could not recommend this venue and host more highly. We will return.

I had the most incredible stay at this unique Airbnb in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales! Trevor’s place was just what we expected. The setting was stunning with gorgeous views from all sides. A bonus was all the lambs playing in the fields. We have never stayed in such a well stocked place before. They had thought of everything!! We will definitely recommend it for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the heart of beautiful countryside.

We had a truly lovely stay at this comfortable and pristine clean cottage, hidden away in a peaceful location with stunning views in every direction. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking fresh air, tranquility, and access to a range of beautiful hikes and cozy local pubs. We spent two nights here and didn’t want to leave! Lynda and Fraser were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and recommended a stunning walk to Cautley Spout, which quickly became a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this gem of a place — we’ll definitely be back!
