Apartment in Norfolk
4.54 out of 5 average rating, 24 reviewsStylish 1 bedroom apartment in holt
My wife & I spent 3 nights at The Nest early Oct 2024. It was a bit more expensive than we would ordinarily pay, but we could see why. The apartment is spotless & perfect for a couple or young family (pull-out bed). It has been tastefully decorated, with everything you require. It has a large smart TV with Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc, & the kitchen is really well stocked with utensils. The location is perfect for exploring the lovely quintessential English village of Holt & the wider stunning North Norfolk countryside & coast. We managed to find free on-street parking just around the corner for all 3 nights, although I guess it wouldn't be so easy in the busier summer months, therefore you'd have to pay in the pay & display car park right next to the apartment. The only negative would be that the apartment is directly above a restaurant, so there can be some noise & cooking smells. It didn't bother us too much, but worth mentioning if you are a light sleeper or have a sensitive nose.
Apartment in Blakeney
5 out of 5 average rating, 66 reviewsThe Loft Blakeney with sea views
The Loft is in a perfect location, just off the beaten track, but easy to find and with your own parking space. Peaceful, quiet, with a view across the salt marshes, unless it's misty and murky, when it becomes atmospheric. Warm, comfortable, clean - this was our second visit and we'll be sure to return.

4.96 out of 5 average rating, 23 reviewsLuxury tent at Moat Island Glamping Natural pool
Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someoneâs Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didnât feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didnât want to leave, will be back!

Fabulous stay. Glorious facilities and incredible nature all around. The natural pool is very special. Great to have covered fully equipped kitchen as well as individual fire pits and tripod for more outdoorsy experience. Great warm tents. Will definitely come again.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

Staying at Rebecca's was one of, if not the best experience I've had with Airbnb. She was incredibly helpful throughout and the place was stunning. She had provided handmade mince pies, juices, milk and breakfast and even popped over to deliver us a fresh loaf of bread. It was the perfect stay and I'll definitely be going back đ

4.93 out of 5 average rating, 14 reviewsPeaceful dog friendly cottage with pool access
Absolutely lovely property and amenities. It was an ideal spot for a family get together and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage had plenty of room for a group of seven and was lovely and clean. The cooking facilities were excellent and it was a very peaceful location. The pool was clean and warm and the games room was great fun. The only tiny issue was that communication via the Airbnb messaging system wasn't great. In the end I had to ring Lynne to get the code for the key lockbox just a few hours before we were due to check-in. I understand that messages to her from the Airbnb system can take a while to get through so worth bearing this in mind when communicating. When I did get through Lynne was very friendly and helpful though!! All in all a wonderful property - highly recommended.

Perfect bolt hole for our visit to relatives who live locally. A real home from home and Steph and Mark clearly care about their annexe and guests who stay there. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Would recommend without hesitation.

Weâve just enjoyed 5 fabulous days at The Bothy, where Julie and Graham were consummate hosts. Thoughtful little touches, like providing a welcome pack and breakfast ingredients were very much appreciated. We really enjoyed the homemade cake and jams! The Bothy is light, clean and airy, and was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a few days away. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sofas in the living room. (Throws were also provided so you can snuggle up with your dog!) Loved that guest access was provided for using streaming services on the TV. This is such a lovely place to stay: well placed for visits to The Broads, Norwich and the beautiful Norfolk coast, with many local country pubs if you fancy eating out. We wouldnât hesitate to recommend The Bothy for a trip to Norfolk, and we will definitely return. Thank you so much, Julie and Graham!

4.98 out of 5 average rating, 60 reviewsModern comforts in a peaceful retreat.
This accommodation is rather special for a number of reasons. Although a modern eco-house, it felt very comfortable and welcoming. The description provided on the web site is accurate. The house is modern with all rooms having en-suite facilities. It is clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped and enables independent guests to cater for themselves. The beds are comfortable and the showers good. The bedrooms are spacious with ample storage. The main living space has windows on three sides which provides views of the lovely countryside. Internet access and speed are good. The local town of Diss is a ten minute drive away with three large supermarkets (Aldi, Tesco, Morrisons). The location is very quiet. There are a number of local walks from the house which can be downloaded from the internet. We placed a leaflet in the instructions booklet for future guests. The host is quick to respond to queries. This place is difficult to find and you should ensure you arrive during daylight.

We had the most wonderful stay at the gorgeous Wainford Mill House. The property is in the most bucolic surroundings imaginable, with a beautiful river at the back. Despite the November cold, it was kept warm and the underfloor heating was ideal. It is a big spacious place and thoroughly recommend a stay to explore Waveney Valley,
Home in Edingthorpe
5 out of 5 average rating, 46 reviewsEdingthorpe Hall
This property provides an unique opportunity to experience living in a 17th manor house. It's a fascinating building with a large garden to the front and over looking mainly derelict farm buildings at the back. These are, due to their age, also a delight to look out upon from the upstairs at the back of the house. They really give you a feel for what it might have felt like as a busy pre WW1 farm. We loved the location; beautifully quiet with a lovely front garden area that was perfect for badminton and rounders with the children. The small yard out the back is secure for a dog prone to go wandering without supervision! Kitchen well stocked, comfy living areas and large comfy bedrooms with en suites. Clean and beautifully presented. Host was incredibly helpful - couldnt have asked for more. Thank you Cristina.

Condo in Brancaster Staithe
5 out of 5 average rating, 87 reviewsTranquil Retreat for Two: "Far" is a Hidden Gem
We found this place to stay for a spontaneous one-night trip to Brancaster and we were not disappointed. Beautifully decorated, huge comfy bed and everything you need to flop and drop! The small kitchenette had everything we needed to cook breakfast (which was provided!) plus the added bonus of fresh cookies! We booked an early dinner reservation at The White Horse (which was amazing!), then took a late-night stroll on the beach as the sun went down. The following day we spent at Brancaster beach to rest, relax and recharge before driving home. A lovely break and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings and we loved eating our breakfast outside by the stream. We didnât use the sauna as we only stayed one night but maybe next time. Really comfy bed and bedroom and bathroom were super warm. Powerful hot double shower. Enjoyed playing a few games of scrabble when we first arrived, a wonderful little stay x
