Lorna's bach is a true little gem in a hidden paradise, just a few minutes from the beach, quite spacious, modern apartment with own terrace. it's possible to use the SUP board and paddle over to the beautiful sandspit - a highlight in itself! Lorna is an amazing host, so kind, caring and helpful! Best accommodation i have stayed at in NZ. Highly recommended!

Very peaceful accomodation. Private, surrounded by nature with beatiful views. Clean, fresh facilities. Very good commincation with host. Highly recommended stay! Close to Matapouri, Whale Bay, Whangarei, Tutukaka, Sandy Bay and so on 🙂

It’s our first time in Tutukaka and I’m glad I trusted my gut and decided to book this beautiful cottage. The view from the place is magnificent. We didn’t want to leave because it was so peaceful, it’s just you, the lovely birds and nature. We spent a lot of time by the deck with our books and our dog taking a nap. Gayle has really thought about the guests visiting her place - you’ll have everything you need here. She even has dog bowls which we appreciate as we brought our furgirl with us. We will definitely book this place again - with the lovely experience we had and the excellent hosting of Gayle - 5 star indeed. x

the place was sparkling clean Easy to find private Anne and Ralf were helpful interesting and friendly I loved their furbabies It was great to be able to park by the doors Two decks handy - one for morning and other for afternoon/evening!! Loved the design of the chalet I would love to bring my family next time!! The garden was fantastic and huge Everything in kitchen for cooking meals - no supermarket close but cafes in Tukakaha Has older tv but much nicer to relax outside Even Kiwis outside at night!!!! Would love to have climbed up to bedroom loft but too risky for me!! Loved small bedroom too!!! first place I've stayed at that has flyscreens. Luxury
