We loved staying in this authentic saltbox house. Mona has done alot of work to make it modern with appliances and furnishings. She made the quilts that are on the beds. she has a great quilt, jam store next door. She loaned us her pot for cooking fresh lobster we bought at fishery (at her suggestion). She is available when needed and answered our questions. The place is close to great hiking trails. Loved our time here. Thanks Mona!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We couldn’t believe how big of a place it was. She had everything you could think of, provided. It’s the cleanest air bnb I’ve stayed at, that’s for sure. Wonderful stay at this cute, cozy place. We felt right at home. Comfortable rooms and beds; great sleep, quiet area. The Beach House had everything we needed. It was great to put the kettle on, have a tea, do some laundry and watch the Stanley cup game. Stunning sunset and view of thevm bay. Penny's a responsive host.

Jenny was very responsive and made our stay trouble free. The house has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay and a great view. I would recommend that you bring your food and drink supplies before coming as there is limited availability in the area. Overall the rental provides for excellent value.

it was more than I ask for , Jacquelyn had some bagels and yogourt in the fridge for us , and of course we got coffee too, its was wonderful.

We felt like we moved into a beach house for the weekend! There was nothing missing and everything was available to make us feel at home from tea bags and hot chocolate, to big beach towels for the hot tub, to a hammock swing by the pond, to door to a private area on the deck from the master bedroom... it was incredible. The size of the land alone was worth every cent we paid, let alone amenities provided, service/communication provided, and the beautifully decorated and cozy beach house vibe. The host, Jeremy, is very clear with instructions, responsive, and helpful. He gives his guests a short (2 page) House Manual that have answers to pretty much every question we had. What wasn't provided, we asked Jeremy and he responded in a timely and polite manner, solving any "issue" (no issues, just cannot think of another word.)

Beautiful location at the beach of a Bay. Watch the tides, collect mussels, walk the trails. Easy location off the TCH. Comfortable beds, great sleep with sea air.

Excellent camper with a view. Joan and family were so loving and warm. They even gave a tour of their home. Lovely and friendly cats and a puppy. She gifted a couple of sea dollars from the ocean as a sign of good luck. Such a beautiful charming family. Very responsive. Great conversations! The location was super beautiful. Would recommend anyone to come and stay. A big Thank You!❤️

Beautiful spot right along the river. We ate at both of the restaurants on the resort, both amazing food. Very accommodating to my food restrictions. There’s a pool, you can go kayaking, bbq your own dinner if you choose. Very friendly staff. We would definitely return.

We had previously stayed when we got married 5 years ago and was so nice to go back with our fur baby. Catherine was very receptive and accommodating. Anyone that welcomes fur babies as family member has my vote all the time. 😊😊

My sisters and I had a great weekend. The basement apartment was very clean and spacious with everything you needed. The hot tub was phenomenal. My sisters and I will be staying again next summer.

Adam was such a great host who went above and beyond for me and my daughter who had a birthday celebration at his awesome place. He wasn’t completely ready to host but wanted her to have a great birthday so they went above and beyond to make it work and to give her the best place to have her celebration. Adam’s place was amazing and in a great location as it was close to everything, even a beautiful park where there is so much to do from walking beautiful trails to swimming and a big playground. When coming into Adam’s place there was such beautiful furniture and paintings and an open kitchen where so much natural sunlight shines in. Downstairs was the den which had such a cool pool table and then the best part a sauna and a beautiful big pool that at one part was 9 feet deep!! Everything was there to your fingertips and if you needed Adam he was just a phone or txt away to answer any questions. We had the best time and I’m so glad we lucked in to getting this beautiful home.

We did a quick girls getaway and it was a great place to stay!

Nanny Ellen’s is the ideal place for a family to stay in Stephenville. It’s within walking distance to everything. The house is big and spacious, the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is big and has every appliance needed. There were plenty of games, movies and books. The decor was tasteful and warm. The pool was awesome and was the cherry on top for the kids. Highly recommend this place!! We’ll be back.

I had a great time with my husband and son while staying here. The space is clean and has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. Travis was kind and responsive, and also left us some eggs, bread and honey which was very nice. We had a lovely bonfire under the stars on a clear night (before the fire ban) and wood was provided. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the Codroy Valley area, and hope to stay again in the future!

A wonderful weekend in a beautiful area with friendly locals. Secluded, peaceful, bright & cozy, and with everything you could possibly need at your finger tips - 'The Birdhouse' has it all. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or winding down at the end of each day, the beautiful view of the ocean through/a top the trees was so relaxing. Being able to bring our fury family member who enjoys a 'get away' as much as us is always greatly appreciated. Thank you to our hosts. Definitely hope to return. Dion & Wanda

Gorgeous place right on the ocean. Very peaceful and quiet! Our 2 dogs had the best time running around in the yard and on the beach :)

We had a wonderful 3-night stay and everything was exactly as advertised. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect after a day of exploring. The area itself is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with stunning surroundings that made it easy to unwind. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

Linda’s suite was near the water. It had awesome water views. The outdoor seating area with the fire pit was a really nice touch! Ivan greeted us and gave us information of the surrounding area!
