We had a wonderful stay! The check-in process was very flexible and hassle-free, with clear instructions provided. The property is in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with convenient parking and a cozy room perfect for two. A standout feature was the wood pellet stove, which provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially during the winter. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’re so glad we chose this place for our visit to Strasbourg. Overall, Strasbourg is a stunning destination, and staying at Guckert’s place made our trip even more memorable!

Really very nice and accommodating hosts and a great house, lovingly decorated with a very own style. Somewhat strange for one or the other, it may be that the house is also actively inhabited and is therefore full of personal belongings, but you get used to it very quickly and then feel right at home. We highly recommend Astrid and her husband's place to anyone. 😊

The house is beautiful. Very nicely renovated in great taste. It has everything you could need and is very spacious. We were there for business in Baden Baden, but nonetheless we appreciated the amazing location and beautiful views over the Black Forest. It’s good to know the host is nearby in case you have any questions.

It was like visiting friends. Wonderful garden, space to play for the kids, different corners to discover and relax. And the chickens were a highlight for me. Every afternoon see what they had put back for us. Everything we needed. Gladly come back.

We had a lovely and relaxing weekend. The house has everything you need, is beautifully located in the valley, you can hike and do a lot. And we also had sunshine in November, what else could you ask for?

A perfect place to stay for a few days in Baden Baden. The property is modern, spacious and tastefully decorated. Large communal area and well-equipped kitchen. Location is great too, short walking distance from town centre. Susan is a great host and went above and beyond greeting us at the station, giving local recommendations and assisting in organising our taxi to the station for the trip home. This is definitely on my list of places to return to.

The four of us friends stayed two nights in this very nice and quiet place, right on the edge of the forest, from where you could take wonderful hikes and walks. Furthermore, we liked the Palais Thermal Mineral Bath in Bad Wildbad very much, where you also get a discount with the guest card. We liked the house very much and was perfect for our girls trip with the three floors. In terms of furnishings, it has everything you need, whether in the kitchen, living room or dining room or even in the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. It is a very bright apartment and we would come back anytime.

Everything was as described in the listing and shown in the photos. The place is in a great location and gave us a nice week of vacation, with the recommendations also helped. Check-in was simple and uncomplicated, as was communication with Gotthilf. We were super satisfied with everything. Thanks a lot! :)

This home magical! It’s tucked alongside the beautiful forest and the views from the hillside are unmatched. We arrived after dark and our hosts were so accommodating and got us right into the home. The home is comprised of 4 apartments with en-suite bathrooms and 2 of the largest ones have kitchens which made it perfect for our family to prepare meals and also have our own spaces to retreat to. In the morning, we awoke to the most epic sunrise and looked like a quaint Christmas village out of a Hallmark movie. Our hosts Jasmin & Johannes were both delightful, well-connected and the most friendly couple! We booked a hiking mushroom foraging tour with Johannes in the forest and found so many golden chanterelles that we sautéed up with dinner. He also provided translation help during a special family excursion at a nearby village. Jasmin offered so many great dining, shopping, cultural and experiential spots for us to see. We are so grateful to them and had the best time here!

My stay at this place was outstanding. The apartment was clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything I needed. The location was ideal – close to all major attractions and with excellent access. The host was very friendly, communicative and helpful with any questions. I also really appreciated the little touches like the welcome package and the comfortable linens. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and straightforward place to stay!

Lisa and Chris are the best hosts! Such a warm welcome in an amazing house and garden. Even better than the pictures!! You have literally everything you could wish for, walhalla for kids with 2 amazing rooms for the children. A house that really felt like a home for 3 days with absolutely everything you could wish for, including fresh veggies from the garden. We will definitely come back.

Everything you need for a great family stay in the Black Forest. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Responsive host. A great place in the beautiful nature of the Black Forest with a friendly and helpfull host

What a lovely house! We were 2 couples and there was plenty of space - it was especially nice to have multiple bathrooms. We cooked both nights and the kitchen was well equipped in terms of implements and utensils. Fantastic location right on the river and directly opposite an S-Bahn stop. Brunhilde was very nice, helpful, and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!
