Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Nassau

The hosts went above and beyond and I have stayed in many airbnb's around the world and they top the list as hosts and their place had everything and more!! A toddler was staying with us and she loved the extras provided for her as well. Actually she didn't wish to leave and went hiding in a closet. I highly recommend this accommodation.

We booked this villa last minute after we had already arrived in the Bahamas. The AirBnB we booked was awful so we actually ended up booking this place (in addition to the place we originally booked unfortunately). We wanted somewhere nice for Christmas. Everything was fantastic and it saved our holiday. The only sad part was that we could not stay longer as it was already booked so we had to return to our other AirBnB for the remaining days. I highly recommend this place. Was clean and had everything you would need. Plus the beach club and restaurant are great. Our girls used the gym and we got coffee at the dock every morning. The staff at the beach bar by the pool were amazing. There was a really lovely woman that looked after us each day. We loved the marina view every morning. The queen room has a small bunk room attached (via the bathroom) so this is good for little kids. Our teen daughters took over the queen room and the bunk room so it worked out perfectly for our stay.

The place was amazing and the environment was peaceful and very clean . Also , the owner Antonio was very helpful and was able to answer every query that I had . He also assisted with my flat tyre . Its a home away from home .

Was a great place to stay for my family of 3. It was a great size, functional and in a great location. Elise was very responsive with any questions we had. Hoping to come back someday!

Great great location! Precious and her daughter were wonderful! Close to everything .. gorgeous beach 1 minute walk! Watched the sunset there every night! Grocery store 1 block away. Super easy to catch the bus right in front of suite! Island time is real. We had such a great stay. Heads up. Make sure and request the king bed if that’s what you are after! It’s only on special request. I would definitely recommend Precious’ place to anyone visiting the Bahamas. Until next time !

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend. The views were amazing and the unit was well laid out. Very close to Bahamar and walking distance to several restaurants.

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

I’ll start with compliments to the hosts! Scott and Julie were incredibly gracious and communicative throughout our stay. We experienced flight complicated due to weather that derailed our itinerary. They were able to be flexible and work with us, allowing us to adjust our checkin and checkout. About the home, it’s beautiful! Very clean, minimal but tastefully decorated, stunning waterfront views of the marina, very safe and quiet. Wow just wow. If I ever moved to the Bahamas I would reach out to Scott and rent this beautiful place. We loved it that much! They provided plenty of towels for both bath and beach use. Good closets, spacious and modern bathrooms, excellent water pressure in the showers. I don’t have a negative thing to say. It’s located on one side of the island so be mindful of distance to where your activities might be but the welcome pdf has great resources and even a contact for a fantastic taxi driver who helped us a lot. Just book this. You won’t regret it

Elvira was a wonderful host. Place was clean and perfect for me and my family. Great location with pool right outside the door, and quiet area. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great stay at Starfish in Palm Cay! The house was great, clean and exactly as described. The host was incredible, great communicator and had a lot of great recommendations. The Palm Cay resort is very safe with round the clock security. The house was located a 2 minute walk from the beach and was stocked with chairs and other beach toys that came in very useful during our stay. There is a restaurant on location as well (The Pink Octopus) that had great food and was very welcoming. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. The other paid amenities were too expensive for our group (gym, private pool etc., so worth investigating if that is something you require for your vacation). The "free" pool was great too, but very cold! The kids spent most of their time swimming in the warm ocean. The house is about 45 mins - 1 hour from the airport and about 30 mins from downtown without traffic. I would recommend renting a car if staying here to make trips to the (close) grocery.

Very clean- which was great for my 9 month old to crawl everywhere. Great location- 7 min walk to Atlantis, Cabbage Beach & boat taxi. The pool is right out the front door & hammock was great. Very quiet place to rent.

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

It was just a short walk to fantastic restaurants and the local beach, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any hassle. We spent our days exploring the area and our evenings relaxing in the cozy ambiance of the house. Overall, Pink Palms was a wonderful choice for our special celebration. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and conveniently located getaway. We had a great time and can't wait to return!

The location of the house is PERFECT for a beach vacation. The beach is right across from the house and easily accesible. The beach has its private Jet Ski or banana boat rentals. The home itself is lovely I stayed with a group of 5 and we had enough space for everyone to not feel crowded. Inside the home there is a washer and dryer set, 5 beds ( 1 king, 2 queens and 2 twins). The property managers and Mickel respond in perfect time with very little delay. The Welcome Center staff were amazing and able to assist my group with our needs. To get in and out of the property you have to pass through security first ,so I felt really safe. Overall a great stay for beach vacation.

The home was stunning and Kathy is an extraordinary host! From the second we arrived at the airport, Kathy made sure we had an amazing vacation! It all started when we failed to follow the detailed directions she provided and she met us at the airport to provide a personal escort to the home. Upon arrival, we found a refrigerator full of beverages and a basket of rum cakes! Ample towels and toiletries were also provided. My only regret is that we didn’t have a longer stay!

Our stay at Pauline’s place was exemplary. We have stayed at many airbnbs and Pauline far surpassed any previous host. She was super responsive, gave wonderful suggestion, and was very proactive. The house was in a private and safe location, was very roomy, and we greatly enjoyed the historic touches. We felt right at home. Many thanks to Pauline for helping us create a wonderful, fun filled family vacation!
