Such a sweet spot! Exactly as shown in the listing -- a peaceful night by the river and able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset.

Now that things have settled down I can give my review. I will start by saying I’ve never used Airbnb before and using it for me was nerve wrecking. But for Christy and David they’ve done this a few times. Immediately when I arrived they checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed. The internet went down and within minutes Christy was able to bring it back up and fix it. All in all this stay was beyond perfect. The place was gorgeous the hosts were amazing. Anytime I’m out this way I will always pick almost, almost heaven

We had a great time at the home in Narrows, VA. Our grandsons, age 10 and 13, had fun fishing in the creek and skipping stones. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The sheets were so soft and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our meals sitting around the island in the kitchen. We loved the gas fireplace. The house was easy to find. We got take out at Bluegrass BBQ which is about 11 miles away. (So much delicious food!)We hiked Cascade Falls which is in Penbrook. The shower was amazing! We played board games in the upstairs living room. We loved that are dogs were welcome. It was a great spring break trip!

Our stay was truly wonderful. We felt "at home" there as soon as we walked in. It was set up perfectly to meet our every need. The layout is spacious, yet it has a very cozy feel to it. Wally is a excellent host,and made sure our stay was enjoyable, I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about our stay there....except it was not long enough (we stayed there 4 days). We will definitely be staying there whenever we are in the area.
