Very convenient location in the heart of the city. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and was very quiet and peaceful in the evening.

This was such an amazing place to stay. Right next door to a beautiful temple and within a short walk to the geisha district and the Nishiki Market. The inside was beautifully renovated and it was right above a convenience store and next door to a wonderful little Teppanyaki place. The train station was a 7 minute walk and that will take you any where you want to go. I cannot recommend it highly enough, a wonderful stay!

The host was also very kind and had a pleasant stay. It was the best value✨

I stayed here for a month and loved it! JR line right down the street that goes right to Kyoto station. Busses nearby with access to all over the city + shrines. Great for tourists and great for people living long term locally since it's surrounded by a bunch of fantastic restaurants and has a grocery store directly infront of the house. It made my Kyoto stay very nice. One of the cleanest places I've stayed as well! The only downside I can think of is that it's on a road with a hospital just a few minutes away so there were quite a few ambulances in the area so it made sleeping with the door open kind of difficult but that is not a fault of the home at all. Would definitely recommend to friends and family in the future!

We had an early check-in and our host received us with a warm cup of tea. Gave us local recommendations and showed us how to get around. It was really close to the Kyoto station and a comfortable place to stay in.

We had an amazing stay here. The room was big, clean, the private toilet & shower were attached, bed was comfortable to sleep. All staff speaks good English, very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from Hirakata station which is great access to both Kyoto & Osaka. There are many shopping malls, restaurants, convenience stores, and bars nearby the station. As this place is in a residential area, we met so many local people and experienced real cultures. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

Cocrorro hotel is great. The station and Family mart are literally steps away. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only thing you need to be made aware of is there is no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage up the narrow stairs. It’s a great value! I plan on staying there anytime I come to Kyoto!!

I recommend staying here, it’s super central to the city and you can get anywhere easily and explore further out even if you manage to see all the things around the area! Will definitely stay here again next time.

The host was very welcoming. He picked us up at the bus stop and offered us snacks. The location is not far from the bus stops. So it can be accepted even it is far from the downtown. Very cost-effective.

This was our second time staying at the Sakura River Inn. The first time was 7 years ago. We loved it so much we had to come back. It's located close to a 7/11 and not a far walk to the subway. Beyond that, it was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend. We'll be back!

I had a wonderful time staying at Hiro-san and Laila-san's apartment! The house is cozy with everything you need for a long stay. Hiro-san is very friendly and helpful. He gave me local recommendations and tips. The place is close to the metro, so has good connectivity to the city. There are good restaurants 2-3 good restaurants at walking distance, and the super market is not far (10-15 min by foot). Overall, highly recommended!

Very convenient and spacious apartment! We enjoyed the nice little touches to the room when we arrived!

Ty's place was perfect for me: just a few minutes away from the Monorail and then the Osaka University Toyonaka Campus, it was the ideal solution to minimize commuting in a very busy and crowded area. Hotarugaike Hankyu station comes with its many convenience stores and food markets, where I could shop daily and come back to Ty's apartment and prepare some dinner. The apartment is very nice and clean and easy to handle. Wi-fi excellent and so heating. Only thing, I was not able to tackle directly the garbage management, apparently rather complex also for locals, and had to rely on the Ty's and co-hosts' kindness and help on that matter. I didn't particularly matter the hustle and bustle of the many Hankyu trains coming and going also late in the evening, but some people may do. For me it was a great experience, and I hope, should my working engagements bring me back to Osaka Daigaku, to have another few days over there.

Highly recommend! I will stay again if I come to Kyoto.

Great place to stay. The location is a bit far from the nearest station, but it's walkable. The hosters were very friendly and replied to every question I had. They even understood a problem I had and modified my booking accordingly! (The best). The apartment is cozy, and the neighborhood is very quiet, very nice to relax after work. A small improvement would be to add more cooking utensils for those who like to cook their own breakfast (like me).

The place is conveniently located near Hanazono Station, just 15–20 minutes from Kyoto Station, making it highly accessible. It’s clean and quiet, providing a comfortable environment for your stay. However, a potential downside is the lack of early check-in options and no facility to leave your luggage at the accommodation. Considering that Hanazono is 20 minutes from Kyoto Station, storing your luggage at Kyoto Station and then exploring the area can be inconvenient. While this might not be a dealbreaker for everyone, it’s definitely something to consider when planning your trip.

Very close to Itami Airport, you need to catch an early flight and a taxi in less than 15 minutes.Comfortable and clean room.Very friendly hosts and very friendly and very responsive.The room is on the third floor, there are only stairs, and the landlord has helped me take two big luggage, thank you very much!The sound of the air conditioner and heater is a little loud, the wind speed is low, everything else is very good, the kitchen utensils are fully equipped!

Nori and Fumi were absolutely amazing, from the beginning to the end! They even received our luggages ahead of time and picked us up from the train station. The apartment was beyond our expectations; the bed was so comfortable and the biggest one we had in Japan, spacious living space and kitchen. The ability to do laundry was just icing on the cake! Breakfast was served every morning and it was delicious! Nori gave us an option of doing a traditional Japanese or American breakfast at the cool cafe. The location was right outside of the chaos of Kyoto but very close to the train/bus, restaurants, conventions stores, etc. Fumi took us to a local spot every morning and dropped us off closer to where we wanted to be and gave us recs! The experience with Fumi and Nori was just invaluable. We long to come back and visit them as they are just the most wonderful humans! It was great getting to know them and making new friends in Japan; they added so much to our trip. Thank you so much

Super great house, near Kyoto station, bus stop in front of the door, convenient transportation.There is also a kitchen where you can cook, and there is a big supermarket on the side.We sent our luggage to the apartment in advance and helped us sign and put it in the room, and it was very convenient for self check-in.Compared to the hotel, there is more space and it is also free and comfortable.Great value for money and I would recommend to anyone!
