Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nakagyo Ward

Very nice living space, it is well designed and furnished very cozy, the surroundings are all residential and quiet. Transportation is convenient, the bus to go to the surrounding attractions is very convenient; eating is not so convenient than the city, you can buy it back and do it, and you can go to the surrounding area to eat. My family of four was very happy and would like to recommend to friends.

We stayed at Shino’s place for 6 nights ， Excellent place and wonderful host! Central to everything around. Walking distance to the train station, in a quite neighborhood. The most comfortable tatami I have slept on!!!:) Shino and あおい is very responsive to our questions and showed great hospitality! Will definitely choose this place if I go to Kyoto travel again !

We stayed three weeks in Hiroe's house and it was wonderful. Hiroe is a fantastic host. I have been visiting Kyoto for forty years, staying in various places but this was the best. I hope to be able to return in the future and I highly recommend Hiroe's house, a very quiet place not far from public transport and the supermarket. Thanks Hiroe!

Cozy house, near Jujo station, it was easy to go anywhere. Very kind owner, and respond really fast!

Excellent value, quirky little place 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station and its endless shops - so food, groceries, big range of eateries etc were on hand. 2 separate sleeping spaces ( upstairs/ downstairs) worked well for my daughter and I, and we cooked two nights while we were there. Fabulous big tub ( by Japanese standards!) for long hot soaks after exploring Kyoto. Hide is kind and always on hand if you have questions.

This was a lovely stay! Tats was super responsive and even offered an early check in as my train arrived early. The electric bike was the plus for me, it made exploring Kyoto over 2 days possible!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was spacious yet cosy, got plenty of light, had a nice street view, was tastefully furnished and fully equiped (we didn’t cool but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped), and spotlessly clean. It was also very convenient to shops, restaurants and public transport, and was a refreshing break from hotel stays. May was very helpful and welcoming (she was even waiting for us on the street when we arrived!).

Definitely would stay here again if I am ever in Kyoto. Asami and Daniel are so kind and welcoming. They both speak English so it was easy to talk to them. The area is nice and quiet but you might get a little lost getting back without maps. Daniel met us at the station and helped us bring our luggage and showed us the way. When we got there, Asami gave us a tour of the space and sat down with us to give us her recommendations on a big map. There’s something nice about planning on a big map but I can’t put a finger on it. The bikes provided were a game changer. Getting around was so easy but be wary of finding a place to park the bikes. I find myself missing having bikes after we had left. The space is nice and cozy. The hot water heats up fast and there are multiple light options (more light, color temp, etc.) the second futon was in a weird place as it would be in the way of the one on the bed frame but you can always move it. 10/10 best Airbnb experience I’ve had.

Great location, <10min leisurely walk to the main shopping district in Kyoto. Place was adequately big and had ample space for luggage.

Aika was a fantastic host - from allowing me a early check in to having all the amenities (including water) so neatly laid out. Loved the location that was quiet yet central. Room was spacious by Japan standards. Would highly recommend

I really enjoyed my stay here in Yukiko's apartment. Everything was as described, and looked just like the photos, if anything more spacious! It was very clean, had everything I needed, and felt just like home! From the beginning, Yukiko provided me with helpful instructions and information on the surroundings (supermarkets, etc), which I really appreciated. It is right next to the subway station which has excellent connections to the city. The mattress being extremely comfortable was also welcome after many long days of walking around this wonderful city. If, hopefully, I come back to Kyoto, I would certainly not hesitate to book this apartment with Yukiko again. Thank you so much, it really made my stay perfect.

Been in Japan for 1 month and this is the best place we have stayed. So much room and in a great area, with access to many great restaurants and public transport. Great host who is friendly and kind

The place is amazing, one of my favorite Airbnb room!! The room is spacious, clean and with all the amenities you need, even they have extra heater !! Only 5 minutes walk from Fushimi Inari station so it's super easy to go anywhere. Very recommended place !!

Great place! Spacious and quiet while still close to everything

Izumi was a wonderful host . He always responded quickly to my emails and had great suggestions for things to do in Kyoto. My first night there he took me on a tour of the neighborhood and pointed out land marks like the sakagura. Later we did a bicycle tour of Kyoto together visiting shrines like Tofukuji and Sanjusangendo. The staff at the restaurant next to the airbnb were also very helpful and considerate. Izumi made my 3 month stay in Kyoto a memorable one and I hope to keep in contact with him in the event of my return to Japan.

We stayed with 7 people.It was spacious and relaxing like a home, and my elderly parents were satisfied.There was no trouble with the large dining room with all the dishes in the kitchen.It was also close to Kawaramachi, and we were able to drive, but it was a convenient place to park!

Great location. Lots of space. Good communication, very responsive. Bath was nice, and view out of the windows was a nice feature. Sometimes we could hear the noise late at night from the bar across the hall, but it wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend.

Pretty close to the central street with lots of shops and cafes. Just 20 minutes walk to Gion and Kyoto station. The apt is clean and has everything we needed. Air conditioner worked perfect and it was really warm for january. Host is very nice and friendly, thank you!

Seth’s place is the perfect home base for exploring Kyoto. It is about 15 min walk to Kiyomizu dera as well as the Gion district. The apartment is spacious and clean in a very quiet neighborhood. It has all amenities you will need, including hair dryer and laundry machine with detergent. Would stay here again!
