Monthly Rentals in Mount Shigi

Hosts were very responsive and helpful! The train delayed and we only reached past midnight of the new year, but Jun-san was patiently waiting for us and even helped guide us to the airbnb, and helped us out with the locations around! It does get slightly cold as there is only 1 heater in the bedroom, but the vibe of the place was really nice!

I had a great time staying in Hirano. Everyone I talked to was super friendly (I speak some Japanese, I didn’t meet anyone in the neighborhood who spoke any English, but that was what I had hoped for). About a 15 minute walk to the station and then a 20-30 minute ride to most of Osaka’s popular spots. If you want to stay right in the middle of a quiet Japanese neighborhood, this will be a great spot for you.

I didn't expect such a fantastic overnight experience before I got there. I got on the train at the time of Nara, and as a result, it stopped suddenly on the way one stop from Oji.So I was able to contact Mr. Masashi urgently, who immediately explained and patiently waited for me late at the subway exit. It is a quick arrival from Wangji, about ten minutes by car, and pleasantly chatting with Mr. Masashi on the road.He should be a peer with my grandmother, but he can communicate smoothly with me in English, and the ability to learn is really amazing.Mr. Masashi said that his English teacher is from all over the world. I thought I would share his house with Mr. Masashi, I didn't expect that the guest was opposite his home, a single house, and only one group of guests at a time, which meant that I was the only guest that night.The interior of the house is very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen can cook your own meals, the oven microwave is fully equipped with cooking utensils, and a whole cabinet of nice utensils.The living room has a small furnace, although it is winter and it is also very warm to sit inside.The bathroom could do with a soak and the tub water fixture was smart.When you sit in the living room and watch a movie after taking a bath, there's no way to think about how to be happier than this evening. I slept in a single room on the second floor at night, and there were other twin rooms on the second floor, and I had a good night sleep after turning on the air conditioner. The next day for breakfast, Mr. Masashi knew I was going to Kyoto and came over to ask me if I was going to change the departure world because he found a very convenient train.Also sent two very sweet oranges ~ Before I left, I went to the cottage in the yard to find Mr. Masashi, he said that the cottage was built by myself, it was really a very cozy little space, this hands-on ability made me greatly admire.I took pictures outside the house with Mr. Masashi before I went and dropped me off at the station again. I was deeply moved by the sincerity, kindness and warmth of Mr. Masashi, even though it was only a day to get along.I hope he will remain fit and happy in the future❤️

We had a pretty amazing experience in that airbnb ! It was amazing and I felt immediately at home. It looks even prettier in real than on the pictures, it’s very cozy and it’s perfect to get back home to after a long day in Ōsaka! I always had a fast answer to my questions and felt like I could always write to her. Thank you very much. I would go again and again.
