Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Nelson

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nel's place! The house is beautiful and stylish with all the comforts you can think of. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved swimming at the two beaches in front of the house. The kids loved the toys in the house. We can definitely recommend Nel's place. Nel was so friendly and really made us feel at home.

Charming little house close to the centre of Hobart. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. Clear instructions for accessing the house and friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you it was a lovely welcome to our Tasmanian adventure.

A beautiful, private retreat not all that far from the Hobart CBD. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect from the 'real world', with limited reception it really makes you focus on spending time relaxing and enjoying the surrounds. Louella and Luke were super easy to deal with, very responsive, and while nothing went wrong, I get the sense that nothing would be an issue if it did! Amazing presentation of the property with easy to follow instructions, as well as some cheeky extras including local produce - which was very much appreciated. Again, highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy an escape from the city. We hope to be back some day!

Skye was very helpful from the start with accommodating a slightly earlier checkin, local recommendations and what was great was the provisions provided especially the gluten free cereal. The warren is a quaint and comfortable and really close to Village Main Street You will enjoy your stay here

Lovely, unique and cosy place with everything we needed. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. It was nice meeting the actual gardener, who gave us some great local tips! This will be a place we remember.

Jo it was a really nice host, She was really helpful with all that we need 🙌🏼😁 and she was always attentive to messages and responded very quickly. On the other hand, the cabin it is really beautiful, with nice views and really quiet place 😌 It was definitely an excellent stay 😁🙌🏼

Comfortable house with plenty of space inside and outside

Simple accommodation good for a short stay in Hobart. Small kitchen with the essentials. Anne Maree was helpful and accomodating with anything extra needed.

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was ideal, perfectly situated close to the airport and the city, making it incredibly convenient for our plans. The space was perfect for us – peaceful, beautiful, and so well-maintained that we truly felt at home. It was equipped with everything we needed, and the cleanliness and organisation were absolutely impeccable. The communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish. They were always attentive to our needs and quick to help with anything we required, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This is a fantastic place to stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

Gorgeous location with great layout. Fantastic for our large family. Although not right on the beach, still spent every day there. Great amenities. Well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the outdoor plus 2 indoor showers. Enjoyed it so much have booked again!

Jill is very personable and immensely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her. She has outfitted her apartment with thoughtful details to pamper guests. The view is spectacular and there’s great walking trails conveniently right out the back.

Bambra Reef Lodge and surrounds was such a pleasant place to break our journey. Julie and Geoff live on the property and we saw them a small number of times. Regardless they respected our privacy and we had a great time, especially in the games room, walks around the lovely grounds and vegetable gardens, and exploring the beach practically a few steps away from the property. Thanks Julie and Geoff.

The apartment was lovely, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The outdoor area with the pool was great and there were so many thoughtful extra things like the welcome basket that made us feel at home right away. Plenty of street parking available and also a bus stop round the corner. We would come back if we were in the area again!

Loved the small community feel of New Norfolk. The place was wonderful- spacious & homely. River directly behind with easy access for kayaking.

jodi was a welcoming, communicative host. the apartment was in a great location with plenty to see and do within walking distance and via the bus. it was really convenient and jodi and Lindsay went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. highly recommended.

Jodi and Lindsay were great to deal with and very accommodative. Their place was very clean and easy to access. It is located in a very nice spot with easy access to the city and other attractions. I would highly recommend their units.

The location was quite good being close to the city and everything we needed to do. There was only three of us staying so plenty of space, pool was a great was to unwind after sight seeing through the day. There’s plenty of good places to eat within walking distance and even managed some fishing. Phil was very proactive with making sure our stay was very comfortable.
