the place of stay was exactly as listed. The room it's self was great with near by restaurants and takeaway and the one we got which was amazing (5 star kitchen). The bath was the selling point for us which was great also The host Sadiya was amazing really friendly explained everything to us and made us feel relaxed straight away. thanks guys would definitely come again.

Myself and 3 friends stayed for the weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was lovely. Easy to get find, easy i structions to follow to check in. Emma has everything in the kitchen that you could need, even a dishwasher. The lounge area was very cosy and has a dining area. There is a lovely log fore for the cold nights and games. The bathroom was very nice and clean as were the bedroom. The cottage was lovely and warm and we couldnt hear any noise. There a lots of things to do if you dont mind going for a drive amd a couple of lovely pubs if you want to eat out. The gaming barn is so good aswell. We cant wait to come back in the summer. Emma was an excellant host, we saw her a few times during our stay and was happy to answer any questions that we had. Thank you for a lovely stay in your cottage Emma xx

Everything was as expected, everything a guest needed was anticipated

We had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s - the photos simply don’t do it justice. Andrea was very responsive and gave great recommendations before our stay.

Beautiful place, would definitely recommend. It wasn't an issue to us, but the place is semi detached which wasn't mentioned in the listing.

We enjoyed our stay in the barn. The barn was as described and was well equipped. The hamper was much appreciated after a long journey from Kent. It isn’t obviously located from Apple Maps, but the directions were excellent and so we didn’t get lost. Whilst it is located near a busy road it faces out on to fields with horses and ducks etc so it gives the feeling of being in the countryside despite being so close to the M1. Yorkshire Sculpture Park is 10 minutes down the road and Cannon Hall Farm a similar distance away.. The underfloor heating was a little too efficient….so don’t crank the thermostat up as the house doesn’t need it. Once we’d got used to that we had a very comfortable stay. We thoroughly recommend the fish and chip shop in Darton.

This was honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The property is beautiful, spacious, relaxing and it is wonderfully located (perfect for travel into York, Harrogate, Leeds, etc). Would absolutely recommend to all, especially families (our 2yr old loved it and a high chair and cot was provided). Can't wait to go back. Thank you to Serena and family.

A great cosy barn conversion. Brilliant log burner! Also felt like a really well equipped home, has everything you need to be comfortable which we needed having our 5 month old teething daughter with us. Nice views, lovely outdoor seating to enjoy them. Great location for pooping into Slaithwaite, we enjoyed Holmfirth too.

We stayed at Nicola’s cottage for 9 days and we are so glad we did! A beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings. It’s just off the beaten track so super easy to get to the main ring road and into or out of Leeds. Comfortably furnished with bags of space for the two of us and our dog. A nice enclosed rear garden and also enclosed front parking area for us to take the dog as well as fantastic woods nearby full of walking trails. The house was lovely and warm and the log burner was great to have on those cold, frosty nights. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking and preparing food and some lovely eggs and honey from the farm too!

Had a wonderful stay at the cow shed. When we arrived, Christina greeted us and made sure everything was ok. Very accommodating to any needs we had. The cow shed is wonderful. Very well decorated, clean and cosy! The log fire was a bonus. We loved it. We had a perfect stay and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We brought the dogs and our little one and they enjoyed it also. Would love to come back in the summer and make use of the garden :) Perfect location to get into York! Only 30/40 mins away. Also close to neighbouring villages such as knaresborough and Wetherby! Thank you again!

What a wonderful cottage, Rob and Bex are great hosts and went out of their way to ensure our family had a pleasant stay. This is a great location if you want to explore the dales and still be close enough to beautiful towns too. The cottage itself is peaceful and full of character, and every amenity was taken care of, especially great to have stair gates and a high chair for our toddler. A really pleasant local pub is also just 5 mins walk from the front door. We hope to return in the future!

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

Simon is a great host. Usually responds within 5-10 minutes with messaging. He is very knowledgeable and Friendly. The surrounding areas are farmland and hills with sheep, horses, and cattle. It is all very beautiful, including a very close-by footpath that overlooks a good bit of it. The area is very quiet also. Walking into town has some really nice views along the way and is approximately 20 minutes. The nearby town is holmfirth which has cafes all over, restaurants, bakeries, and large and small food shops. The drive in is very short and finding parking is only a challenge at busier times of day. Loved it. The flat has everything you’d need in it. It has a big comfortable bed. The views from the flat are exceptional and it is so restfully quiet inside. There was rarely much noise at all from outside unless a bird was perched really close by. There is no microwave in the kitchen but Simon let me borrow his because as i need one to live. Highly recommend.

Anna was extremely proactive and helpful at a time of year when snow was threatening to make my journey difficult. The cottage is very cosy and having a bath is a real treat!

This was a return visit to the Gate Haus. We love that there is secure parking and that is is very quiet and peaceful especially at night. The apartment is very clean and warm. On this visit we brought our own pillows as we prefer feather… not always practical to provide these in a rental… fairly small kitchen and bathroom but quite manageable. Lovely comfortable sofas. Patrick is a friendly helpful guy. Thank you.

We stayed in Holmfirth for five nights in November to take part in a sculpture course in Holmbridge. The house was beautifully warm which was much appreciated in the chilly weather. Having not visited the area before, we were stunned by the Peak District and would love to return in the Spring/Summer so that we could also enjoy Sue’s pretty garden. The kitchen is well equipped if catering at home but there are also many good restaurants down the hill. Highly recommend

Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable, in a great location. Wayne was really friendly and helpful with good local suggestions and easily contactable. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Barn Elm is a gorgeous estate and was the perfect place for my family. The house itself is pristine and beautifully built with no expenses spared. Katie is such a lovely host and goes out of her way to take care of your every need. We really felt like family here. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Me and my partner stayed here, it was a beautiful place the hosts were perfect and the accommodation was perfect. We will definitely come back again.
