Villa vacation rentals in Monteverde

Sergio has a fantastic place that is perfect for our extended family. The house is quirky and a challenge to navigate—there are a lot of steps everywhere. However, every room is a gem, and everything works. Sergio was an ideal host - such a difference from company-places with remote staff that don't care a damn. We all had an amazing time. We hope to be back soon!

Guillermo and his wife were amazing. They were very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. The house was just as described. The trampoline was a huge hit as my son loved it. The house is located near many restaurants. My only recommendation would be to provide guest with all room keys as our son locked our room door 2 times and we had to call Guillermo to come unlock the doors. It was a little unsettling knowing someone else had access to the rooms but we didn’t.

We loved it here. We felt extremely welcome and felt right at home. There was fresh fruit and bread waiting for us when we arrived. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into making guests feel taken care of. The scenery is unmatched.

fantastic house, a few minutes from the town while also peaceful and private. lots of space, we heard the monkeys in the evening and loved watching humming birds in the garden. highly recommend!

We loved our time here! With that said, be prepared for all the critters and sounds. Yes, there will be bugs, but we didn't mind. Yes, there will be wind at night, but you get used to it. And yes, there will lots of animal sounds! Birds in the morning, animals on the roof at night, embrace the fun in it and sleep when you get home! The home had everything you will need; we cooked every day. The beds were comfy, the showers hot, it was a great stay.

Este lugar es increíble, la casa es nueva así que estaba super limpia, cada detalle de la casa es perfecto, el jacuzzi estaba caliente, agua limpia, terraza perfecta, tienen de todo en el baño hasta toallillas para desmaquillarse, el baño limpio, amplio, impecable. Tienen shampoo, jabón y son de la zona de monteverde y huelen delicioso. La cocina está equipada con lo necesario, aceite, sal, utensilios bonitos y necesarios, las personas son super lindas y nos dejaron ingresar antes, hablaron con nosotros y estuvieron atentos a todo. Deje olvidadas unas sandalias y se comunicaron conmigo para enviarlas. En fin la casa es perfecta me parece que el precio es el adecuado, el lugar tiene vistas increíbles. Todo perfecto

I stayed here with my husband and 4 kids. Rossy met us to check in and showed us around. The yard is beautiful with a back porch that is serene and a wonderful spot to drink coffee in the mornings and relax in the evenings. We did not bring a car so Rossy helped us book a couple of tours and a taxi to get to them. There were at least 6 restaurants and a grocery store within a 10 minute walk. We walked over to the butterfly preserve which was really fun. The weather was hot while we were there but Rossy had several fans set up and the house cooled down at night with no trouble. Rossy even let us pick some blackberries from her garden which were delicious! Overall we had an incredible time in Monteverde and Rossy’s house was a perfect jumping off point for us.

The house is 15 minutes by car from Santa Elena, the busy town in Monteverde. Santa Elena has shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, souvenirs and lots of tourists. This house is away from the hustle and bustle with the most spectacular view of the gulf of Nicoya on the doorstep. It has multiple rocking chairs where you can admire the view. Birds, including toucans and Motmots and of course , the white-throated magpie Jay are abundant in the beautiful garden. So many butterflies, even the blue morpho! The neighborhood is quiet and some neighbors even brought me squash from the garden! I am looking forward to going back for 2 months more!
