Spacious house. Gracious host couple. Great value for money.

The house is modern, comfortable, intimate and very pretty! It is perched on the mountainside which offers a spectacular view from the balcony - we were able to see beautiful rainbow every morning! The counterpart of the incredible location in Monteverde is the almost constant wind, which can be noisy, it is advisable to bring traffic jams for those that it could inconvenience at night. Host Albita is very proactive, shared with us the location of a perfect place to see the sunset and responded very quickly to our questions. I highly recommend a unique experience!

If you want quiet and privacy (in addition to an unbeatable view!) this is your place. It's nice and spacious. The last part of the drive is indeed a bit of a jungle trek by car. It's bumpy, but all this adds to the remoteness (there are other houses on this last road, but far apart). A 4x4 is needed for this part. We had a great stay here, beds were comfy. There was a wild wind when we were there but other than that it's pretty quiet. It's about a 10-minute ride to Santa Elena but things like the cloud forest are closer.

Review: Manrique’s place in Monteverde is absolutely wonderful! The property feels incredibly safe with its gated entrance, and check-in was a breeze. It’s private, beautifully designed both inside and out, and surprisingly spacious—it feels even bigger than the photos suggest. I would 100% stay here again on my next visit to Monteverde. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed viewing the birds and animals from the house, walking the trails, and the proximity to the monteverde cloud forest preserve. it was very comfortable, spacious, with large comfortable bed. I appreciated the coffee and cooking supplies. We ate breakfast and dinner in because it was nice to be home at dark, and to have breakfast before going on the 7 am tour. the road in is gravel and a little rough, but not any worse than the rest of the roads to get there. it is close enough to walk over the monteverde reserve.

Sybil’s place is comfortable, modern and has an unbelievable view. We had everything we needed and Sybil was very helpful and accommodating. You can tell it is a home, not just a property bought for AirBnB. I strongly recommend this place.

Location is the best part about Veronica’s Airbnb and premises are beautiful. The property is as in the pictures The only thing not to like was the kitchen smelt too much like gamazine (to keep ants /insects)

Great place. Just like in the pictures. Outside the center of La Fortuna but very close if you want to move to enjoy different activities. A very quiet and private place. Very safe. Great hosts, very friendly and respond right away.

An extraordinary experience, we hope to return soon! A safe place for pets where they can feel free. We loved the private pool, the calm and quiet. The house is cozy, spacious and well equipped. It was like feeling at home. Our children enjoyed it to the fullest

My family and I had a great time at Juanita and Andrea's place, they gave us our space, they responded to all our requests quickly and efficiently and fulfilled everything offered on the page. Among other things to note, the beautiful, clean and organized space! It was wonderful!

We stayed at Casa 3 (Cabaña búho) with our family of 4. The cabin is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and equipped with a functional kitchen. The surroundings are beautiful! Our boys loved the pool area and we swam multiple times. We saw plenty of animals both wild and domestic just on the property. We didn’t interact much with Leonardo but he was always very prompt and kind in his responses. The use of their laundry facilities was greatly appreciated. The drive into La Fortuna and all our activities was quite easy compared to other areas we had traveled in CR. Since we cook most meals at “home” and with 2 messy boys the only things we missed having were cooking basics like salt/pepper/oil and a broom/dustpan to clean up. These things didn’t hinder our stay and we would book again without hesitation. Thanks for the great stay!

Very nice stay, despite constant rain ( not Mario’s fault!). The grounds are beautiful and unique. We were able to easily sleep 13 people in 5 rooms. The kids room is really for kids (king bed + 3 twin beds). The location was fantastic, nearby everything. Good recommendations. Kitchen is fully outdoors with a cover, so just be prepared to enjoy the wild of Costa Rica everywhere. The pool and grounds were beautiful. Laundry room also helped!

A clean, modern place with many amenities. Located in a family neighbourhood, with many friendly people. Walking distance to downtown La Fortuna, about 1.5 kms. We felt very safe in this neighbourhood. Within 300-400 m, excellent restaurants, laundry service, coffee, and shopping markets. The plunge pool was excellent to have. Great view of Arsenal! John and Yan were quick to respond with answer to questions, provide recommendations, and assist when needed. We would definitely stay here again while visiting La Fortuna!

Exactly as described - comfortable and convenient!

This Airbnb was fantastic. In fact, we wish we cancelled one of our planned excursions to just spend time at the property. The property is lots of fun and the pool is great. We didn't stay long enough to use the open-air kitchen, but it was really cool. The room you sleep in is a quite small and a bit musty, but it was fine. Norwin was very helpful with us - we needed somewhere to store our luggage after checking out of our last location and before checking into his place. He helped us very proactively and coordinated is leaving our luggage with the cleaner, who then brought it to the property for us. It was fantastic.

Ever’s Airbnb was in a convenient location and within walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops in Monteverde. Ever was responsive and made my wife and I feel welcome. The breakfast at Restaurante Tico y Rico was excellent. I highly recommend staying at Ever’s Airbnb in Monteverde.

Beautiful location in the cloud forest, just a 15-20min drive from the reserve. Fully equipped kitchen and nice sleeping areas. Advertises washer and dryer, but there’s no dryer just a spin cycle. Detailed directions on where to go and how to check in were a bit delayed, but once we heard back from them it was clear and we were greeted shortly after arrival and given a low down on any nuances of the place. The covered seating area out front is beautiful and private with lots of bird activity if that’s what you’re into. Would stay at again!

Excellent location and the bakery downstairs is a great plus! We booked last minute, and the house super clean. We had the entire place for ourselves, and there are restaurants and supermarkets at close distance. The communication with Ramiro was easy and friendly. Very convenient to stay when visiting Monteverde and the parks around.

Ernesto was an amazing host and the space was perfect for us. Space as advertised, good value for what you get. Ernesto was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful when it came to recommendations! It’s a bit of a walk from Monteverde centre and Santa Elena centre but the views are so gorgeous, you won’t even notice. Also, Ernesto offered to schedule taxis if you don’t have a vehicle and prefer a ride into town.

Well run, clean and convenient place. Excellent value.

Ericka's cabin is spectacular! Super cute and totally matches the photos! The streets are accessible to any vehicle, I was in a car and I had no problems. The cabin has an indoor garage. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The place was super clean. In general the cabin is quite spacious for a nice weekend, the beds are super comfortable and in the bathroom Ericka left us everything necessary! Also, Ericka was super friendly and helped us with recommendations for eating at local restaurants. As recommendation if you are a traveler and you are going to visit 100% Aventura, first place in the Waze as reference the Bon Appetite restaurant and then 100% Aventura, because from Casa Atardecer Waze he recommends a path that is not in good condition, but if you place the restaurant first and then the place everything is fine, it is actually quite close! Edith's place was exactly as advertised. Great place to spend a few nights. we were 5 and with it being walking distance to town was a perfect fit. I would definitely stay again

This property was awesome! It is on the edge of town and would recommend a taxi or car to town due to steep road into town. The location was secure, private, and beautiful. The 2 bedroom was perfect for a small family and was perfect place to relax after exploring the parks in the area. There are trails on property and a small pool as well to cool off on the hotter days. Tony and family recommended restaurants and helped with taxis. They also brought us to see the Sloth on property which we would have never of found sleeping in the trees. We saw a toucan and several other animals on property.
