The place is extraordinary. Clean, elegant, and hidden away. We loved our stay. Louis is a great host. He responded quickly and made great recommendations.

Daiana’s place is magical!! Nothing short of perfection. My wife and I travel quite a bit and are huge fans of houses and great architecture. This gem stands out. First of all the location is unreal- you are in the clouds and the views can’t be portrayed in a photograph- you have to see it to believe it. The house is designed perfectly- each detail is so well thought of! The colors, the wood, the outdoor decks. The showers are divine. The kitchen and living room are so beautiful. You are close to everything Monteverde has to offer yet so private like you feel you’re in the most remote location in the world. I really think the pictures don’t do this place justice- it is way more beautiful than the best photo you can take. Thanks again for everything- hopefully will be back to enjoy this again🙏🏼

Glauco was responsive and helpful at every turn and everything was as described. Close to many of the attractions of the cloud forest including night hikes, waterfalls, shopping, and restaurants.

Our stay was incredible! This is definitely the house to stay at if you are visiting Monteverde. This little house fit our family of 4 perfectly, although we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. The house is located perfectly to give you some peace while still being only a 15 minute drive from the city. Albita was very responsive to all my questions and was able to give us recommendations on what to do in Monteverde. Make sure to use the address Albita sends you so you can find the house! If you stay here, you absolutely must go to Lluvias de Gloria cafe! This was recommended to us by Albita and it is a family-owned farm only 10 min from the house. They gave us a tour of the entire farm with coffee and fruit tastings. We also went back to eat there several times at their cafe. This was the best thing we did on our entire Costa Rica trip!!

Laura’s place was absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better view for our stay, the home was comfortable, quiet and had everything listed. We are so happy we chose it and can’t wait to make it back someday!

Our stay at the TreeTop House was wonderful! The rental is just as charming and unique as the listing described. It is located right between Santa Elena and Monteverde- our group was able to walk to several locations nearby thanks to sidewalks along the main road! The area is absolutely stunning, with amazing views from most areas of the home. It was spacious enough for our large group to stay comfortable. One small thing to note is that you may need to provide very detailed instructions to taxi/shuttle drivers as the location on google maps makes it appear like you are one street over- not a big deal but did require us to take the few extra steps to the main road to catch our ride a few times. Overall, it is a gem of a home! Sabine was very helpful and was quick to respond when we needed her assistance!

We loved staying at Manrique's place! We've been to Monteverde a few times and appreciated that this cabin was centrally located between Santa Elena and Monteverde. Although we typically stay in cabins that are a bit more out of the way, this location made it extra easy to see many nearby attractions.

This is a stunning house! The view is unbeatable. However, it is quite difficult to get to ( long unfinished road) and having a vehicle with high clearance is better. It is also not very child safe. So, an absolutely amazing stay for someone without kids. Sybil was a fantastic host. I love that she left binoculars and field guides at the house. We enjoyed looking around for birds and other animals. I will be back here either on my own or when my daughter is older!!

A typical recreational quinoa with each very clean and well equipped comfy. The excellent social area. We did BBQ and it has a great time at the pool. Extremely special night with lights and everything you need. Come on and shower outdoors as well. A 10! Very communicative hosts.

Excellent accommodation, my friends and I were delighted with the place, we felt right at home, good location, very clean place and quiet neighborhood, the host is a very kind, pleasant, accessible and empathetic person, I would recommend this accommodation 100%

This was a wonderful place to stay while in the La Fortuna/Arenal area. The location was a few kilometers south east of town but well worth the drive. The place was very lovely and the sounds at night were a nice change from sounds in a city. I was greeted by 2 iguanas our first morning there which caught me off guard but what a sight! I had hoped to catch a glimpse of a monkey or sloth but no dice. The family that lives on the property had 3 dogs which were friendly. Leonardo gave recommendations to places to eat that were helpful. We had such a great time we extended our stay another day to enjoy all the area had to offer. We would definitely stay here again if we come back and I will be letting others know of this secluded paradise we had the good fortune of enjoying for 3 nights! I am so thankful we did not choose a property that looked wonderful but had a tall iron gate around it...this was a much better choice hands down. Safe, secure and secluded.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

This Airbnb greatly exceeded my expectations. John was very responsive and would check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He was also so kind and thoughtful to add special touches to the Airbnb to help me celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. He made our stay extra special!! Thank you so much John!

The house was definitely nicer in person! The pool is really nice and the rooms both have their own bathroom and shower. The house is in a gated community, quiet area, and safe place. Randall was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions! If you’re looking to stay in La fortuna, I would definitely recommend.

Stay here! It's an inside outside house - the bedroom and bathroom are in air conditioned comfort, everything else is outside... The pool is perfect, the grounds are beautiful. We were away for 30 days across Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico City and Casa Pura Vida was the stand out accommodation. We'll book it again when we return to Costa Rica.

Great location, close to town. Peaceful

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the place. It was extremely private. The house is located in the mountains and we ended up sleeping in clouds. Jose Miguel had planed everything : blankets, little heaters, dehumidifier and everything was really clean. He gaves us also great instructions about which roads to avoid which made our travel way easier. The only thing I would notice visitors is that the Airbnb is about 15 min from the city on a non paved road. Its easy to access with a high clearance vehicule, but is not walkable. If it's not a problem for you it's a great option if you want a really private place to sleep.

Very good accommodation, well-equipped, close to Monteverde Park. Nice little bakery below the accommodation. Ramiro is very responsive if there is a problem, perfect!

Beautiful house, cozy, we hope to return for more days, since we were just passing through! They make you want to stay!!!

Edith was a wonderful host and was very welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with her! Her animals and family were sweet too. We walked into town at least twice a day from Airbnb, you don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot as you leave you car secure inside the gated yard. We would definitely stay here again as we want to explore this area more.

Clari’s place is a great spot for a weekend getaway to Monteverde! Most activities you’d want to do are within a 5-15 min drive. The beds are super comfortable and perfect after a long day of hiking and activities. And the hot tub was a great amenity to have for additional relaxing at night. We also were thankful to have the washer/dryer unit for washing clothes from our trip. I’d recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay in Monteverde as a couple, family, or a few friends! I would like to suggest if you’re staying here to ideally have an SUV due to the driveway (very common in the area).
