We have been coming down to Costa Rica for 20 years and this is the nicest place we have stayed in. Clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Luis was a great host. The walking trails to the waterfall was amazing. We can't wait to come back

Spotlessly clean, newly built, soooo serene and peaceful. Smelled so fresh when entering the house. Very nice local toiletries - she truly didn’t miss a single detail, it made our visit to Monteverde so lovely! Oh, her referral of a guide for the cloud forest was exceptional, too.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Glad I rented a 4x4 for my stay in general, but it was helpful getting to the area itself. The view we had was amazing and it was very close to El Tigre Waterfalls! We had everything we needed in the place itself. I would 100% stay here again.

Glauco was responsive and helpful at every turn and everything was as described. Close to many of the attractions of the cloud forest including night hikes, waterfalls, shopping, and restaurants.

Highly recommend Albitas place in Monteverde!!!! We stayed here between Tamarindo and Samara, and it was the perfect retreat! The listing and experience are exactly as described. Nature welcomes you with open arms in Monteverde and Albitas place is like staying in the heart. It was such a beautiful retreat. The winds at night were refreshing, the air was crisp, we drove to our sight visits with ease. Albita takes so much care to make the experience amazing for her guests and it shows in the energy of her rental. To us, she is a standard of hosting I would recommend her any day!

Amazing house in Amazing location. The property is big and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. The surroundings are green and you can enjoy the nature. We highly recommend this place to stay! Thank you a lot for hosting us.

The best part of this place is the location. Super close to the rainforest reserve, but also it has its own trails on the property, and unlike in the reserve you'll have it essentially all to yourself. We spent more than hour wandering around and in some ways enjoyed it more than Monteverde. We didn't spot a sloth, but did see a bunch of the trees they like to eat, so you may get lucky. I also added two birds to my life list that I didn't get in the reserve. Such a treasure! As for the home, I read that someone complained that there weren't space heaters, and now there are. I had one issue that they took care of right away. The space itself is a bit funky, but comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and has an amazing variety of ways to make coffee. We had a great time!!!

A great cottage with the best view. Sitting on the terrace in the evening is wonderful. You can be in the center within 2 minutes walking. Despite the location on the street, it is quiet at night. Even during the day it did not bother us. The garden is very well maintained. The kitchen is conveniently equipped. We felt very comfortable. Clear recommendation!

A home away from home! Andrea is such a lovely host. She has everything you need, lots of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. this was our second stay and we’ll be back again. The plunge pool and views of Arenal (volcano) are priceless. Away from the incessant noise of the town, the place is a cute house in a quiet neighborhood.

The house was absolutely perfect for the four of us. We loved the location which was close enough to Fortuna and walking distance to a small grocery store, but far enough away to be totally peaceful and remote-feeling. A beautiful tropical oasis!

Zen Village was awesome. It is designed so that individuals in a group have their own space and naturally gather in the outdoor kitchen and pool area. Hot tub was a hit. The caretakers were responsive and invited the children to milk cows. We were lucky with a cloud free view of Arenal.

This Airbnb was amazing, felt very safe inside gated community. Ac in master bedroom stopped working and the host changed it right away which was extremely grateful. Thanks again for a great stay.

Perfect little place, not to far from town. Many things to do. I absolutely loved it!!

Beautiful location in the cloud forest, just a 15-20min drive from the reserve. Fully equipped kitchen and nice sleeping areas. Advertises washer and dryer, but there’s no dryer just a spin cycle. Detailed directions on where to go and how to check in were a bit delayed, but once we heard back from them it was clear and we were greeted shortly after arrival and given a low down on any nuances of the place. The covered seating area out front is beautiful and private with lots of bird activity if that’s what you’re into. Would stay at again!

Everything was great, comfortable accommodation, friendly service, Ramiro was super attentive. He let us check in early. The only thing to consider, but that is not Ramiro's responsibility is that Monteverde Street is not in good order.

An absolute gem in Monteverde! This cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully designed home exceeded all my expectations. The breathtaking view from the terrace made every morning feel like a dream. The house is impeccably clean, thoughtfully equipped, and full of charm. Everything was just perfect—a true fairytale experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Monteverde!

Sybil was an incredible host. She was promptly responsive and incredibly kind and generous. The home is an in incredible location for both enjoying the deck and the serenity or for traveling to the many local tourist destinations. We live 4 miles out on dirt roads and are used to rough conditions, but if you're not, then you should prepare yourself for the adventure- and not be afraid of it. Our family of four loves this home and hopes to return at some point.

Edith is a lovely host and an excellent communicator. The cabin felt secluded and private, and very secure. It was a short walk to lots of amenities. We had no problem finding activities and food, including the supermarket. The cabin is surrounded by native plants and animals, which you can hear (and sometimes see) at all times of day and night. We slept comfortably and used the outdoor seating during daylight. The shower was nice and hot. The linens were soft, warm, and cozy. The cabin feels authentic and rustic. Bug nets were provided though not really needed as we did not use the lights inside the bedroom. I only encountered a single mosquito while there during the dry season. There are two adorable dogs and a little cat who came to say hello a couple of times, which added to the charm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Edith’s hospitality very much.

We loved out stay at Moni's house. Mónika was a wonderful host. She and her husband Toni met us on arrival and provided great information. Toni arranged a night walk tour with transportation for us which was awesome. It is a beautiful home. There is a nice view from the balcony. One can see the ocean in the distance. There are some things that one should expect in Costa Rica beyond anyone's control. The map from the AirBnB listing shows only the approximate location which is always the case with AirBnB everywhere not just Costa Rica. This is quite understandable I think. The instructions when subsequently provided however, shows the exact location and it is easy to find. We drove right up to the driveway. It is nice to be near Monteverde but away from the Hullabaloo downtown. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
