Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Monterey Bay

This home is just like the photos. It is roomy, the kitchen is terrific, and the back patio is great for kids. The house is in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. Easy parking. Recommend strolling San Benito Street for restaurants, coffee shops, and outdoor dining!

Place was great--fit our needs perfectly. Recommend opening windows at night to bring in that beautiful fresh air. Our 4.5 yo was absolutely over the moon by all the activities outside in the yard-- very well equipped area for adults and kids alike! The sand toys were also a hit--we loved walking to the beach and appreciated how well written the instructions were. Just took a photo of them and went on our way. Only bummer is the lack of sidewalks in Aptos, but most cars do seem to watch for walkers. Marianne's ice cream is great, and tamales across the street also fantastic. Weather cooperated and the easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey made this location ideal. Colm was a great host--responded immediately to any questions I had. Very thankful for this spring break trip--we truly feel rejuvenated!

I always choose to stay at Emrehans when I need a place near San Jose. Very beautiful, clean home/yard, great location. Emrehan communicates well and has been very accommodating to me. Very good price for the stay. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s home. They were very responsive to all questions and requests. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown and also the boardwalk, but private and peaceful at the same time. A perfect spot to explore and enjoy Santa Cruz!

Lori's place was perfect for a large group of people to both enjoy each other's company in the large living/dining/deck areas, while having privacy for sleeping. It's two stories with lots of space inside and outside with a third story outside crow's nest deck as well. The hot tub was a bonus! The beach access was incredible and the best thing about the location. It's just a 2 min. walk away! The neighborhood is tranquil. Lori was easy and great to work with as well! What a special time!

Carolyn's place is very comfortable, and though it is by a busy road, once you get to the property, we felt relaxed since it was quiet. The vibe of the place is very country, and the addition of the herb garden is a plus. The couch, the beds, linens, and towels, are all very comfortable and seems well-laundered. The house is spotless, and the welcome basket was a nice welcome from the host. Grocery stores and restaurants are across the street, took us about 5 minute drive to the Aquarium and Cannery row, about 5 minutes to Asilomar beach. Only quirk for us: bathroom is a little smaller than expected. I could use more room since I had 2 very young kids with me. All in all, the stay was wonderful, my daughters and my mother-in-law didn't want to leave. Thanks Carolyn for this awesome place!

Come for the convenient location, stay for the shower. Vic’s home was a welcome place to rest for a night while in San Jose. The home was very clean and also spacious if you are traveling with multiple people. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was amazing! After cleanliness and safety, comfy beds and exceptional water pressure are really appreciated. Try not to drive up the water bill by living in that shower, but know you will be refreshed and rejuvenated. Vic and the management team were extremely responsive and helpful with all of my questions. I will definitely try to rebook the next time I come through San Jose.

The property sits high up in the hills with great views and lots of privacy. The pool and hot tub also have great views. We didn't use the pool but the hot tub was nice. It was really easy to use, heats up quickly and very relaxing. There was also a gas fire pit on the patio. Rooms are good size and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

This place is very clean and beautifull. Its closed to downtown and has a modern set up. Host is very responsive. We had a great time staying her and will be back again.

A beautifully appointed home in downtown Capitola. Walkable to the beach, bars, and shops. The house was fully stocked with amenities. The terrace was lovely for morning coffee, and sun bathing. 10/10

Very safe, clean, quiet and comfortable room with private en-suite bathroom. Great location just a short drive to downtown Campbell or Los Gatos.

Excellent host. Was very accommodating and responsive. There was a binder of local restaurants and wineries that she also put her reviews on. This was very helpful in planning out our stay. The property is beautiful. The apartment was cozy. We’ll stay here again for sure next time we’re in the area.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Susanne’s place in Carmel. The studio is exactly as described and has gorgeous views of the surrounding forest and ocean in the distance. We loved the deck and enjoyed the fireplace at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

I stayed here for about a week with my two kids for spring break. I felt very safe here traveling without a partner - right across the street from the police station, next to the fire house, and secure locks on the doors. This place was perfect! Fully stocked kitchen, walking distance from downtown and the beach, lots of space for us plus a few friends who came to visit. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. I'd stay here again!

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and the ocean. Perfect place for wildlife viewing. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area with panoramic coastline views through the large picture windows. There's also a nice deck attached to the living room and master bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, clean, and comfortable Airbnb, which was perfect for the holidays. My family and I spent Christmas here, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal, with a quick walk to the beach, pool, or spa. The ocean views are stunning, and there's nothing better than listening to the waves all day. I'm already looking forward to booking my next stay with Sue.

Marc’s beach view condo was absolutely beautiful. Spent a girls weekend there and it was very comfortable for three people. Kitchen was fully stocked, fireplace was nice and cozy. He was very flexible with our check-in time. I highly recommend this place if you’d like a peaceful location & quite beautiful ocean view. This is a perfect location in between Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel.

Always a great time at this condo! It is so close to the beach that even my baby did not have a problem going back and forth! Clean and bright, beautiful views.

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

This was in an excellent location for walking to both the beach and various restaurants. I appreciated that ample linens and towels were provided. The living room was very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. There were thoughtful touches, like providing tea, bottled water, and blueberry muffins upon my arrival. The host was extremely responsive and helped me to arrange retrieving an important item I left behind. I would book this location again.

The view from this property was extraordinary with amazing sunsets from the deck each night. The location was perfect to visit Santa Cruz one day and Pinnacles National Park the next. The host was very responsive. We’ll definitely save this to our wishlist.

This condo was perfect for my getaway trip. Spacious, well-appointed, and the views from the balcony were beyond amazing! Although this was a solo trip, I could easily see staying here with others and not feel the least bit crowded. I was blessed with blue skies and warm temperatures. Perfect weather for al fresco dining on the balcony and exploring Aptos.
