House vacation rentals in Monroe Lake

It was a little pricey for 8 people but we could have fit many more to decrease the price per couple.

stayed here for a month of work and it was the best place I've ever stayed at so far. host's are super responsive and always checking in to see if you need anything. would definitely recommend staying here.

Our group loved our stay and the pool! Plenty of room for all of us- lots of beds/sleeping space, plenty of seating options in the living areas, enough room for us to all eat together. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We arrived late in the evening and a bit tired, but check-in instructions were so thorough that it made locating the property and figuring out parking very simple. There were three in our party, so we had plenty of room, and when we had visitors over the tally rose to seven, but the space never felt cramp. There is every amenity provided – washer & dryer, plenty of plush towels, wifi, TVs, a well-stocked kitchen including a very nice Kurig, outdoor courts for tennis, basketball or pickle ball (we played pickle ball even though it was very cold out – paddles and balls provided by our hosts!) And, speaking of our hosts – April and Richard are so incredibly thoughtful, generous and accommodating. The little touches they provided to make our stay extra special were so unexpected yet very much appreciated. They are THE BEST. You can’t go wrong picking this place, we would most definitely return pending availability. Thank you, April and Richard, and much continued success!

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing! We had such a great time. The house felt cozy and clean. The hot tub, pool and arcade games were a hit. The property is just stunning and we appreciated all the history of the home on the walls and the hotel decor vibes. Beds were all comfortable as well which is great! Tom and Gabbie responded quickly if anything was needed. We already recommended this place to family and friends.

Convenient location to visit IU for the weekend. Check in was easy and Colleen let me know that the place was ready early if we wanted. The 2 baths were helpful for us and expedited the ability for 2 couples to get ready in the morning. The complimentary bottle of wine was nice. We rested well in the comfy beds. We had what we needed! Colleen was good with communication.

Barbara and Alan were super sweet when they greeted us. They showed us around and where everything was. Loved the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies left for us!

Joes's place is great! our family of 5 adults, 1 baby and our dogs were all very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. the bedrooms were nice and mattresses were very comfortable. All lininens and towels were provided and clean. The location was a very convenient 6 minutes from The Wilds Wedding Venue where our daughter got married. One of the best things about this home is the huge fenced in back yard that the dogs loved. The patio is very cute with patio seating, hanging lights, grill and a nice hot tub. The hot tub appeared clean and well maintained. we would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend Joe's place to everyone.

Great place for families to stay. Next to a park with a creek that my kids loved exploring. Near IU’s campus. Lots to do in the area.

Our last minute stay to celebrate our college friend’s engagement was nothing short of perfect! It was so close to downtown, had snacks, was very clean, and just the right size for all of us. I would without a doubt stay again! It was so unique and had great decor. We were so happy with our stay!

Great hosts! Very clean and organized home. Welcoming place with water and snacks upon arrival. Thank you so much for flexible check in time. They let us arrive early which helped as we had our dog with us and wanted to do things in Bloom with our college daughter.

A wonderful place, great for a girls weekend. Very spacious for daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts and cousins to gather, shop and enjoy some quiet time!

Austin was a great host and super accommodating. This was our second stay at the house and it has worked out perfectly for us. We would absolutely stay there again.

Very comfortable night near IU campus and downtown Bloomington. The host helped us till quite late.

This is the 2nd location we stayed at hosted by Andrew & Amy and it exceeded our expectations! This location was close to downtown, on a peaceful dead end, and had lots of room. Easy to check in, very clean, and had everything we needed. Beds were also very comfortable!

Best airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! Very spacious, lots of amenities, clean and modern, and worked great for our large family. We really appreciated the extra amenities that many airbnb’s often do not have: kleenexes throughout, books and movies, shampoo and body wash, etc. We felt very much at home here.

This was a beautiful little home. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but on the inside it is charming. And if you’re a coffee lover, this is the only place to stay. And we found that every amenity we could possibly want was there. The host was very thoughtful in choosing. The second bedroom was very small. And to access the bathroom, you do have to go through the main bedroom. But we had absolutely no difficulty with any of that as three adults. All in all, I would give it a great rating as a comfortable safe place to stay. Even though we didn’t use the stove much, next time we will! It is fantastic!

Iris House was wonderful, and I will certainly be staying there again for any future visits to Bloomington. It was well appointed, with nice little touches in every room. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and serve a great meal, the living room comfortable a large enough to accommodate friends while watching a movie. Both bedrooms are comfortable and have their own televisions. The deck provides another great space to gather, and the yard more than enough room for kids or a dog to run around and play. The area is easy to reach, quiet, and only minutes from campus and all the great restaurants and other places of interest in Bloomington, as well as dedicated trails to walk or run. If this space is available during your stay, I highly recommend it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Immaculately Clean & Perfect Stay Near IU Campus! I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb near IU University, close to campus! The house was immaculately clean, which I truly appreciated as someone who values cleanliness. The space was perfect for our needs—comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. We had zero issues during our stay, and the communication with the host was excellent. Cyndi was incredibly attentive and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I will definitely be booking this place again in the near future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a spotless, well-managed, and convenient stay near IU!

Wonderful, relaxing, and homey last minute stay for me, 2 other adults, and 5 kids ranging in ages 1.5 - 9 years old. We went to Big Splash Adventure in French Lick and this was less than 30 mins away with a Walmart nearby in Paoli. Even though we brought our own snacks, the home had quite a few already to include water, pops, and coffee which was a pleasant surprise! Quiet location, pretty sunset, and the dark night skies allowed for bright star constellations to be seen. We’ll definitely be back, in the summer next time to enjoy the outdoors!

Our family had a great few days away here! The house & surroundings were very peaceful & relaxing.
