What a place! When we arrived we were happy to see that the house is even more impressive than the pictures! We had such a relaxing, fun weekend. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was such a peaceful place to rest and recharge!

We were a group of 5 who had just climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and wanted a place to relax for a couple of days. The Wild Fig Villa was perfect for this. The house is absolutely beautiful, very spacious and Lina, the house girl, keeps it spotless. The pool and grounds are also very well maintained and there is a lot of beautiful birds, we even had a family of monkeys visit one day which was entertaining. The beds were comfortable and there was some flexiblity to change the configuration into twin beds as well. We opted for full board and all the meals were absolutely delicious. Lina prepared the meals and she is an exceptional cook. The location is very private and security guards patrol the area so we felt safe at all times. There isn't a lot in the surrounding area but the groundsman will drive you somewhere if you need it. We walked to the golf club one afternoon for a drink, which took 10 minutes or so and was very pleasant. The golf course is very welll maintained.

Elle, the estate staff and especially Kingston and Bali made us feel right at home. The cottage is on a beautiful coffee estate with lots of privacy and acres of coffee fields to walk and explore around. The staff was always attentive and helpful to get us what we needed. The cottage is close enough to walk to the mall and they provided bikes if you want to explore further in town. There are two or three wonderful restaurants within walking distance. And it’s close to the airport, so very convenient if you’re flying out for safari. 10/10! We will be back!
