This villa is absolutely amazing!

This house and the whole compound is big and made of high grade wood (maybe mahogany). There are hardly any mosquitoes or flies. The owner did a great job on that. The house and entire compound are very clean. My kids loved it. Cons: the owner needs to improve on communication, including about Wi-Fi usage, etc. The owner left his family photos in the house, which kind of ruined the vacation mood everyday we had to look at that reminder we are in someone else’s home. Also, the master bath is ok, but not big enough, especially the very small vanity/sink, to match the beauty of the house. The time of the year we were there was very cold and no good heating options in the house. Overall: the stay was worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Gloriosa is a tranquil escape nestled in the Meru area, and our stay, though brief, was memorable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Barbara, who greeted us with freshly baked muffins and bananas. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful and dense forested area, where the sounds of birdsong create a peaceful ambiance. Occasionally, the call to prayer from the nearby mosque added a unique cultural charm. The cottage itself is stunning, with its beautiful design and cozy interiors offering the perfect retreat for relaxation - although no views of the mountains due to the forest! Though we stayed for only one night, the serenity and beauty of Gloriosa left a lasting impression. It’s a place where one can truly unwind and reconnect with nature. The peaceful environment, combined with Barbara’s warm hospitality, made our short stay special. Gloriosa is a wonderful getaway for anyone seeking tranquility in a beautiful natural setting.

Kaswende Farm is just as described. It is a little haven where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful Tanzanian vegetation. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We were delayed and arrived late in the evening, they waited for us and had a lovely meal ready, and gave us a moonlight tour of the farm. We would have loved to stay longer.

The hosts were really amazing and went out of their way to make our stay in Kijivu 1 in Njiro pleasant. They let us check in early and check out late- helped with a driver, were very responsive, etc. overall a great place to stay- we were there a month and were quite comfortable. The house is in a fairly busy area which makes it easy to walk to supermarket and some restaurants but it’s also a bit noisy at night on some weekends. We did get used to this as time went on. We will return!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful getaway at the guest house at BEEtopia. It was a much needed restful time at this beautiful home. It’s clean, beautifully decorated, and has a well equipped kitchen (and you can preorder groceries to be delivered). Warren and Katherine are very kind and welcoming. Our kids loved this rental so much that they wanted to add to the review and share what they enjoyed. Our 13-year old son says he liked how quiet it was and there was an easy to get to Bee tour, also it was a good area for outdoor playing like frisbee. Our 11-year old daughter says how interesting they made the Bee tour and how kind the hosts were. Our 8-year old daughter says the honey is fresh and delicious!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this Airbnb at BEEtopia!

Amazing place to stay! The beds are incredibly comfortable. The host is super responsive and proactive. The gardener during daytime and the night guard are really kind and welcoming. The fact that we are able to do our own washing in the laundry room is definitely a plus! We had a little water issue which was solved super quickly. The host came to check within a couple of minutes and even refunded some amount for the inconvenience, which was really appreciated. We will stay here again! For sure!
