House vacation rentals in Mission Canyon

Great place overlooking gorgeous Santa Ynez valley. We enjoyed spectacular views and David and family were especially respectful of our privacy — important , given that the rental is adjacent to their home. We felt totally at ease. A small malfunction on a sliding door was immediately addressed and repaired while we were out for the day. So no disruption or inconvenience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Jennifer is keeping her land with such intentionality and care that every tree is whispering a harmonious song. If you love nature and permaculture you will understand what she’s worked so hard to create here. The yurt is a beautiful temple like space, and for a couple of nights stay it has everything you need. No kitchen, no cooking, but a kettle for tea and coffee and we were lucky to visit after a rain and could have a fire in the wood stove. The outdoor shower was in beautiful nature and nicely designed, though in the cooler weather you’re choosing between pressure and heat. There’s an awesome hammock under the oaks and the energy of the land makes you want to just sit quietly and be. It was easy breezy to great food, and Jennifer was responsive flexible and friendly. My partner and I came to celebrate our 25th anniversary and I’m hoping we can come back year after year.

The experience renting Cheryls property was as good as it gets. Cheryl was responsive and helpful from before check-in, to even days later helping retrieve a forgotten item. The house itself is something out of a magazine. From the amazing kitchen / living room to the large deck overlooking Ventura with ocean views. Not to mention an awesome lower patio alongside the pool and jacuzzi. 11 out of 10 would recommend as long you respect the neighbors and respect the rules of the house! Thanks again Cheryl and a special shout out to Alisha for helping make sure we had a seamless experience.

There were 6 family members and a 1 1/2 year old. We especially loved the quiet and peaceful location and the fact it was central to downtown Santa Barbara as well as the airport since we were driving back and forth picking up and dropping off family members flying in. The house was well equipped with everything we could need especially the pantry items. Lots of towels, both bathroom and beach towels for the pool and hot tub. Marie was so responsive to all our questions and needs!

Hilary’s communication was always timely and clear. She provided a yummy danish from Mortensen’s Bakery along with some fresh fruit. The Christmas tree was beautifully lit and decorated and the decor was stylish and tasteful. We didn’t see any coyotes, mountain lions, nor bears but hummingbirds entertained us poolside while we enjoyed our the many danishes we purchased from downtown Solvang. Our Ohana of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing environment and the privacy of our own bathrooms attached to each of the suites. Thank you for being so helpful Hilary!

This was a great place to stay to explore Solvang for the weekend. The house was exactly as described and had all amenities described. E was an excellent host and went out of their way to accommodate our group for the weekend. Would highly recommend!!!

Julie’s place is amazing and even better than described. The location is great, the grounds and furnishings are beautiful, the place is immaculate and Julie is a warm, inspiring and responsive host. I want to move in here.

This place is perfect for a large group. We had 5 couples and never felt cramped. The view is amazing. It is a very private location, but still close to everything. The home is stunning through and through and the person who checked us in (Becky) was a dream. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful find! This attached duplex is a perfect spot to be when spending time in Ventura, Oxnard or Thousand Oaks. Our family used this as our hub while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday and was a short, easy freeway trip to Thousand Oaks and Oxnard. The house is on a quiet, cute street with lots of street parking that is close to many amenities....including a less than 10 minute drive to the Ventura Beach Bike Path which is a perfect spot to walk, jog, spend time on the beach or eat. The shoreline is beautiful. The place was spotless, well appointed, had very nice fixtures and materials, a very functional, pleasing kitchen and comfy beds. It was also very easy to have 2 main suites simply by closing the hallway door for the more public bathroom. Highly recommend!

Definitely a repeater. Great to have 3 wineries within walking distance. Home was roomy and clean.

There were no surprises here; it was exactly as portrayed. Karen stayed in touch and was responsive to our questions. Our trip was for the difficult reason of the cleaning of a deceased relative’s estate, but we look forward to returning in the future to have time to enjoy the beautiful area, beaches & waterfront, and the local restaurants and attractions. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

This was a very quiet and private room. Well appointed in every way. I particularly enjoyed the private bathroom and all the amenities. I would come back in a flash.

House was perfect for us. It was close to our daughter and easy access to everything.

Katina and her home are one in a million! She has thought of EVERYTHING! Beautifully appointed and decorated home. All amenities top notch from bedding, towels, including lg. beach towels, dishes, glassware, All-Clad cookware, top shelf soaps, lotion and 2 sizes of ice cubes! She provided 2 porta cribs, high chair, sand wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas and 4 beach cruiser bikes for our use. The down stairs area was a wonderful play space for our 3.5 and 1 year old. Play house and play restaurant, toys, games and space to crawl around! The main floor has an outdoor patio with grill for morning coffee and relaxing. On the top floor she has created a wonder comfortable room great for afternoon cocktails and watching the sun set. Upon booking I mentioned that we would be celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. Much to our surprise and delight, Katina left a beautiful box of had decorated cookies for him! We have never experienced such pride in ownership as she has. BOOK THIS HOME!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Brenda’s home! We felt so welcomed and comfortable. Casa del Sol was even more beautiful in person, with thoughtful touches that made it a true oasis. We can’t recommend this place enough and we would love to return in the near future. Thank you for being a wonderful host Brenda!

Krista and Brad were wonderful hosts. Very easy check in and out and always responsive. Everything was clean. Loved how kid friendly the house was with the high-chair and toys, which made our travel experience much easier. We would love to stay her again!

Beautiful home and amazing location. I didn't realize how close it was to the beach and was pleasantly surprised. Super responsive host, comfortable beds and thoughtful little touches to make your stay memorable (bikes, board games). I would book again!

Our multi-generational family of 5 adults and 3 kids had a great time at Marty & Carey's place. The property is located on a low traffic cul-de-sac, near convenient grocery stores & the airport. The separate studio and large primary bedroom allowed us to have privacy - while the multiple outdoor & indoor common areas allowed for plenty of socializing. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pantry items. The windows allowed you to soak in the beautiful front + backyard landscaping. Our kids especially enjoyed the hot tub and walking distance to the beach. Marty & Carey were professional, accommodating, and responsive.

Beautiful home & very well stocked kitchen, linens, etc. It is close to downtown so there is a lot of traffic in the area. Our daughter got married in SB & this was a great meeting location for family & jumping off point.

Great location in Goleta, super close to the airport and Santa Barbara. The house was clean and we enjoyed all of the plants and landscaping! Check in was a breeze and we had a great stay!

Joel's place was perfect for our 2 night destination wedding stay. Joel responded immediately to our needs. His place is well appointed with a gourmet kitchen, coffee and a few little extras that made the visit special. The home is quiet and an easy 10 minute drive from Ojai. We would absolutely stay there again in the future.
