Tanya was friendly and helpful but respected privacy. The Forge was comfortable (the bed!) and cosy (log fire burning on arrival) with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was doing a weekend gardening course at Homeacres, just a few minutes walk away so perfect for my needs. The good pub next door is busy at times but not noisy at night - they don't always serve food so check first. Thanks for the hot cross buns Tanya!

Wayside Cottage was really lovely. So well equipped, bright, nicely furnished and comfortable, with everything you would need. We really enjoyed being in the sunny garden and loved hearing the church bells and birdsong on the Sunday morning. It is in a great location, close to many places, and the co-op 2 minutes away was very useful as open till 10.00pm every night. Anna was a great host and came back to us almost immediately with any queries we had. The only thing I couldn’t do was unlock the back door-for some reason it wouldn’t work for me, so always had to wait for someone else to do it-it is fiddly. But we all had a brilliant time in Evercreech and loved it, Thankyou Anna

We had a lovely time at Charlie’s place, it was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. We did Bruton, Glastonbury Tor, Frome, Wells, Batcombe…The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe was excellent. We met Charlie briefly and he was very friendly. The place itself was pristine and very comfortable, we would definitely recommend.

A lovely little cottage, very friendly and welcoming host. A little gem of a find, we will be staying again. Clean, welcoming, warm, friendly, peaceful, just perfect.
