Villa vacation rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

Silvia and her Family have been the best hosts we ever had! We felt so Welcome at their Villa, which is a real paradise: there is more than everything you need, it’s beautiful furnished, the pool is fantastic, the environment like Garden Eden. Silvia is so kind and helpful, whatever you need or want to know - she will be there for you! We had two wonderful weeks at Villa Sinerchia and can just recommend this wonderful place to everyone! We definitely want to come back next time on Sicily! Dear Silvia and family, thank you sooo much for your hospitality, you made us a perfect holiday!!!

This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

Our whole experience with Villa Clara has been perfect! This stunning villa really gave us everything and more than we expected. Prior to reaching the villa, we had some delays whilst travelling. Everything was more than accommodated for, nothing was trouble and they wanted to make sure we arrived safely. On arriving, our host met with us so we could be guided to the villa. We were met by three family members who were very friendly. They gave us a tour and showed us around the land and told us of everything that grows there. The landscaping is immaculate and the olive trees are just wonderful. It was a truly welcoming and homely experience! We were given Clara’s number should we need anything whilst we stayed. We messaged a couple of times and got very fast response s which we were grateful for. Olive oil from the olive trees that had been harvested was gifted to us. It really was a nice touch and olive oil was the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you for making us feel at home x

Guiseppe was probably the best host we have ever been to . He is super friendly , flexible and gave us priceless recommendations for the surroundings and local restaurants. He even send us the perfect parking spots for sightseeing!!! His enchanting Mum was living next door, which was a plus for quick questions. Highly recommend the place.

This house is wonderful - a very lucky find. Its location is great for all parts of Etna park and Taormina. Vincenzo is an extremely helpful host who took the time to make suggestions to make our all too brief stay memorable. It’s a beautiful house, cosy and warm for our early spring visit but we imagine it is also delightful and airy in hotter weather. Whichever, stunning views of both Etna and the coast with Castelmola and Taormina castles in clear view. If you are looking for a luxury stay to get to the mountain and the sea, we recommend you consider Vincenzo’s place.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

The villa is located in an exclusive gated community, i.e. access with roller shutter door. The surroundings are exclusive and quiet. Very large living area with the perfect views of Catania and Etna. You are super happy to come to this dream location after the excursions "home". The counter with high chairs on the deck is perfect! Kitchen is complete and we liked to cook something. Hosts are personally on site and take great care of the guests.

The villa was simply stunning! We had the best, most relaxing time. The view was so pretty and special! Sandra was a great host, who made us feel welcome and safe. She replied quickly, and made sure the trip was comfortable for us. The perfect location to explore both Catania, Taormina and other cities nearby. We would 100% recommend. The hairdryer was a big plus! Also all the windows and doors had mosquito netting! Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was much appreciated (we were 3 married couples). All in all a great experience! Again, 100% recommend❤️

What a lovely property to fit a large family. About 20 mins to Taormina, you find yourself removed from the tourists and able to enjoy this beautiful house and outdoor space. We arranged for a chef to come and cook at the house for us and was a very memorable experience. Thanks so much and will stay again!

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Everything was extremely lovely, we had the best time (maybe too good) at the villa. Our cell signal was not always good, but that was kind of a plus for this vacation. Our group of eleven Americans was very comfortable and Cristina and the team at the property were so accommodating and understanding. I can’t rate this place high enough, you will not regret your stay here.

We really enjoyed staying at Maria’s villa. The house is located in a quiet and gated neighbourhood. The large terrace with its beautiful views over the Etna and bay is great, even in winter. The interior is spacey and conveniently fits 8 people Kitchen and living room are well equipped. Bed- and bathrooms are good. We made day trips to Catania, Syracusa, Necropoli, Fontane Bianche and Noto, all within 30-50 min drive.

Amazing villa, beautiful view and exceptionally clean.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

This is a nice well equipped stay 15 minutes from the coast. Ideal for visiting the east coast of the island. The arrival cost us the first day because we arrived almost at night but we got used to the slopes quickly

One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed; Casa Riva al Mare exceeded our expectations- it was a fantastic location, overlooking the Sicilian East coast, a great base to explore Eastern & Southern Sicily. The sea view, with Etna also in the distance, is beautiful. The villa was very clean & well cared for with our every need thought of by Marianna the host. It has a large private patio area & lovely pool. It's clearly a well loved & cared for place with such arrention to detail. Marianna & her family made us so welcome; a bottle of wine greeted us on arrival, Nespresso & fresh coffee, pool towels - all so thoughtful. Marianna's parents, who live on site, even brought us some delicious gelato one morning. Marianna gave us lots of fabulous suggestions for places to visit, restaurants, even where best to park - invaluable tips that really made our holiday fantastic. We were sad to leave & plan to go back - we would love to stay here again.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

A beautiful villa with old-world charm yet modern feeling. Amazing views of both the ocean and Etna. Well maintained gardens and grounds, with a lovely pool and sitting area. Pino and Viviana were always quick to respond and helpful. Truly a special place

Had 2 nights at the house and really enjoyed it. Ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for some countryside peace but not too far from towns/cities for a daytripping.

Probably one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. The place is beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos, super spacious, has everything we needed and more, and had stunning views of Etna. We felt right at home and did not even want to leave the place to explore. Daniella was a superstar, she was very friendly, proactive, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us, we had a wonderful time.

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

Giovanni built the place from scratch with a lot of careful details and with guests in mind. Gardens, plants and trees are spectacular. The pool and pool area is wonderful, we swam whenever we were at home. Home is what it felt like. Location is closed to Taormina, the gorge, Etna is only one hour away as is the airport. I would thoroughly recommend Giovanni's villa to anyone considering a trip to Sicily. You will love it here.
