Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

We stayed 4 nights in the flat and went on day trips to Syracusa, Taormina and Etna. First, the flat is confortable, with every bedrooms having shower and toilets. The living room/kitchen is big enough to have breakfast but not enough confortable if you plan to stay the all day inside. Secondly, but up to me, it is well decorated with upcycled stuff. Finally, the flat is well located. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. And few minutes walking from main touristic area. Stazione centrale might be a little bit far away.

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Piera and Alessandro were waiting for us when we arrived with wine and a warm fire. The place is super cozy, the kitchen well equipped and is close to all the places we wanted to visit around the Etna and Catania. It was really an amazing experience to come back home after a long day of walking to light the fire and get some rest in a calm and quiet environment. They also gave us recommendations of what to visit and checked on us regularly. Totally recommended!

Very nice property wirh a wonderful garden. Photos of the property are a bit outdated, maybe tey should be changed. Kitchen could be a bit better equipped and I would suggest a weekly change of towels and a daily pool cleaning. But all in all we enjoyed the stay and will come when we have our next trip to Sicilia.

Our stay at Elio's home was simply wonderful! The surrounding is green and beautiful, just a short drive away from nice restaurants, bakery, ets, about 30 min drive to mt. Etna and about 45-50 min to Taormina and Catania. The house itself is just lovely, very spacious (which was good since we were a family of 4 adults and a 3 yr) - yet it had a cozy feeling that made us feel at home. Elio was very kind and helpful and gave us lots of good recommendations. We will definitely want to come back!

The apartment was the perfect base for exploring Catania. The location is unbeatable as everything is at walking distance, and yet outside of the turistic area. Lots of things to do and try nearby, especially in the market. It really gives you a glance at the authentic sicilian everyday life. But what truly sets this place apart is the kidness of the host. Nausicaa is very friendly and understanding, very responsive to our needs and she really helped us through an unexpected event. Would highly recommend this apartament and would love to come back!

Paolo’s apartment is very centrally located and tastefully furnished, right in the heart of the city but tucked away on a quiet street. The beds were comfortable and everything in the flat worked efficiently. There’s efficient air-conditioning and good wi-fi. Paolo was friendly and helpful. I’d love to stay in his beautiful apartment again. Five stars!

The stay and apartment can only be described as great. Joanna takes great care of guests, communication is very fast, the instructions provided are accurate and valuable. The apartment provides everything you need for every stay, with impeccable cleanliness. A big plus is the location within walking distance of the Duomo. Only be careful if you want to sleep for a long time because morning traffic won't be your ally 🙂

We had a great stay! The apartment was well equipped and lovingly furnished. Andrea was incredibly accommodating – he picked us up from the airport and even arranged a taxi for our return flight. He was very helpful, showed us the area and told us interesting details about the sights. At our request, he also provided us with a kitchen scale and even brought us an additional battery. A nice gesture were the small Italian snacks that were available in the apartment. The bed was comfortable, and the location is ideal – just a 5–8 minute walk to the beautiful, lively city center of Catania. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the A&B. Thank you!

The apartment is located in the immediate old town, with a nice little private terrace, two separate rooms, and a roof terrace with stunning views on the top of the building. I highly recommend it!

Claudia is perfect host. Accommodation was prepared, clean and cozy. Online support was quick and really helpful. On the date of departure Claudia was flexible with our check out time which was really good for us recommend to everybody

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Views of the sea are great. Angelo was responsive to any questions and helped us. The organized transport from the airport to the apartment was very pleasant and simplified the arrival.

We enjoyed the location very much for convenience of walking to restaurants, shopping, and morning cafe. Guila was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations and we were so grateful for Carmen who transported us from the airport and back for our departure.

Very nice place, awesome host! Super flexible on a last minute booking. Would recommend, with the following notes... Good: -Clean and newly remodeled -Plenty of towels, hot water and excellent water pressure. -all the amenities you'll need for your stay -Awesome host!! -Separate AC/heat in both bedrooms and the kitchen/living room -Private parking Bad: -Not near tourist stuff (will require a car, cab or bus). -spotty internet, especially 1500-2100 when everyone in the building is using it. -not full balconies like in the photo. More like a "French Balcony" that opens up the rooms a little.

Overall it was a great apartment. Roberto was very kind and accommodating. Best location in Catania.

What an amazing host!!!!! He is so kind and helpful! Loved the personability!!! He made great food and activity recommendations! Everything is so close to walk! Our car was parked in a secure and safe lot. Very clean and homey apartment. Loved everything about our stay!
