The accommodation is exactly as described. A reserved car parking space is right outside the front door. The location is convenient for Dedham, Flatford Mill & ‘Constable Country’. Jimmy provided the makings of breakfast - cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, jam which was very welcome. Jimmy communicates well and responds quickly.

Leslie’s house in Wivenhoe is absolutely amazing! Great location and a stunning old house with lovely interior. We were two families staying there and we loved it. Definitely recommend this place!

A clean, beautiful house in a quiet street. A perfect location very close to the railway station, seafront, pier,swimming pool, town centre, pubs and a large Lidl and Marks and Spencers food hall. Walton has a very friendly, village atmosphere and lots of lovely places to go for a walk and picnic. Lots of places to eat or to stop for coffee and cake. The house is very well equipped and has very modern decor. The back yard has plenty of seating and is completely enclosed with a wall. I would highly recommend it, especially for families. I will definitely book again the next time I want to stay in Walton.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely mini break at the Old Cafe and Julia and Guy were great hosts, allowing us flexible check in and out times as they didn’t have an immediate follow up booking. The rooms were comfortable and the upstairs living space views and light were a joy. We had everything we needed, although a washing machine would be ideal for a longer stay. There was a problem with the dishwasher and a leak with the roof that Julia communicated clearly before we arrived and offered a discount as a result, and her husband attended the leak (which we noticed barely any evidence of) on the roof the morning we arrived. I would recommend mountain bikes rather than road bikes if you want to cycle. Beach road on approach needs slow and careful driving to navigate. A really lovely spot for birdlife in the salt marshes and we made it to a couple of local beaches with the kids which we enjoyed. Easy drive on to other nice seaside towns like Frinton and Walton too.

We had a great stay! Spontaneous trip and Rohan was very attentive, nice looking caravan site great position right on the beach! Accommodation, spacious, clean and fresh. Looking forward to our next visit!

A perfect home away from home! The caravan is in a great location and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The caravan is spacious, with a bonus of having outside decking and seating that looks out onto the sea. There are activities on the park (including an outdoor heated swimming pool which is a bonus, in addition to a shop, restaurant and clubhouse which had some good entertainment. This was all shared in my welcome email which was greatly received. The place was really clean and the added welcome gift from Shanice was a really nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again. The home was lively, very clean and a beautiful hime from home. My kids lived it there and enjoyed the great collection of kids films and books avaliable. The beds were very comfortable and my kids actually slept which is saying something as they dont normally sleep :) Tracy was lovely with great communication, she messaged kniwing it was going to be a cold week saying to leave the heating on so we didnt get chilly which i thought was truely lovely for her to reach out like that. 100% recommend and will be looking to stay again :) thankyou

We had a lovely stay. Nice and spacious with everything we needed. Lots of seating when family came over. Alice was quick to respond when needed. The baby loved running up and down and seeing the chickens. Would love to come back in summer when the weathers better to explore more

We had a wonderful stay at Polly’s cottage, the kids loved the garden swing and we enjoyed the cozy fireplace and peaceful surroundings - we’d love to come back in the summer time!

Lovely clean accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped and cleaning stuff provided. We loved being close to the sea, the kids loved finding the plentiful seashells. Site was quiet being off season when we stayed which is what we expected. Our host was very responsive when we had a small issue, it was resolved within 1/2 hour!! Thank you.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

It's the perfect place for our family gathering including 2 dogs and a toddler. It is bright and spacious and has everything you need. This was our 2nd visit here and definitely won't be our last. 😄

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

We had a wonderful day, and James was extremely helpful and provided all the details we needed. The hut was clean and well kept, with lovely decor to add to the beach day. We will definitely hire again in the future.

Very happy with the accommodation. Both Lincoln and Louise were lovely hosts. Peaceful location for my daughter, baby and dog. Welcome basket waiting which was very nice. Lincoln was very responsive and helpful as I wanted to leave a little gift to welcome my daughter. Both hosts checked to see if everything was satisfactory and also came to say goodbye. Very spacious annex with well provided kitchen, lovely location, amazing value for money. A great find, will book again if back in the area.

nice and clean, ideal for us, loved how the beds were made up! wife said that she really liked the messages on the plaques that were placed around. the host was very helpful and messaged to check in on us to make sure all was well. appreciated the wine and dog treats. will stay again :)

We loved our stay at The Hideaway! Susie went out of her way to make this stay extra special for me and my partner. It was lovely so beautiful and peaceful! We nipped to Clare and had a walk around the sun was out so instead of leaving the hideaway we hid out at the hideaway! And it was lovely! Thankyou Susie! X
