Great place to stay in Tavistock - central but quiet. Beautifully and tastefully furnished house, with a well-equipped kitchen. Parking opposite was very handy. Would recommend and will stay again if we visit Tavistock again.

We had a great time - fantastic location, with wonderful walks from your doorstep and the open moor very close by. The house has a lot of character and very well-equipped - very spacious for the five of us. Living room very atmospheric - given the high ceiling it takes a while to heat up, but wood stoves help, and we spent lovely family evenings together. Perfect setting for listening to Dartmoor ghost stories and of course Sherlock Holmes. The cemetery and church next door make a night walk extra special - and we had some amazing stargazing. Thanks for a great start of the year.

This was a great space to stay in. I was staying here for work and it had everything I needed . Very helpful hosts, who helped when I needed something, but also felt very private although part of host’s house. Also great running routes on the doorstep. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely helpful hosts who went out of their way to help. The accommodation is clean comfortable and practical. Quiet location just a short walk to the estuary harbour where we moored our boat overnight. The hosts stocked the fridge with milk, orange juice, eggs, bread and butter. Tea and coffee provided. Fantastic value!
