Our stay here was great. Watching the sunrise over the river from the hottub was the highlight of the trip! Absolutely beautiful. Home was cozy and clean. Due to the extreme cold temperatures we had a minor issue with one of the showers not draining but Chris responded quickly and gave clear instructions. There was also enough to do in the area to keep us occupied for our short stay. All in all, great experience.

We highly recommend this beautiful home in Decorah! Stunning! We really appreciate King beds in all 3 bedrooms! Our host was extremely friendly and all instructions were very clear! We will be back!

Eagleview Nest has a spectacular view looking down on the majestic Mississippi and served as the perfect hub for our exploration of Driftless Region Wisco State Parks. Very comfortable setting with a cool 60s/70s decor that put a smile on our faces. The hot tub was a bonus that we used to warm up and soak our muscles after long and chilly days of hiking. Centrally located with plenty of options for beer, wine cocktails and dining, this place really checked all the boxes for the two of us. We will definitely make a return visit in another season for whole new experience. Thanks to our hosts!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend off the grid, and this place was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the first thing you notice is the stunning view of the river and the house's secluded feel. You also can’t miss the hot tub just steps from the front door, ready for use. Inside, the place is cozy with blankets and linens everywhere. There’s no shortage of towels, cooking utensils, spices, and everything you need to truly feel at home for the weekend. If you feel like it, there's also Wi-Fi and a Roku TV for your entertainment. I’m giving this place five stars, but I did want to mention a few minor things that could be a bit annoying to some. First, the window in the master sleeping area is broken. It doesn’t affect the temperature, but it’s more of a visual issue. Second, the latch on the washing machine is broken, making it unusable. Lastly, there’s a strong brussel sprout odor that might be off-putting if you're sensitive to smells.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The area is lovely-the cabin is nestled in a valley surrounded by rolling hills. You cross a small stream that feeds a pond in front and then see the wooden cabin built into the bluff. We booked last minute - literally on our 2 hour drive up-and Greg contacted us on the way up with clear instructions and help getting in. We visited in the winter and arrived in damp rain to find a warm cozy respite from the elements. We made a fire in the wood burning stove-played board games and had lasagna while watching the sun set out the windows. You are really out in the woods- no neighbors in sight. Our 4 teenage kids loved sleeping in the loft and we slept very well on the first floor. The cabin is a short drive into Viroqua- about 12 minutes, but we mostly enjoyed relaxing at the home and walking around the area. We have traveled all over the world and stayed at many vacation homes and have found few owners as gracious and accommodating as Greg and Lindsey.

We had a wonderful time at Tom and Julie's home. Everything was just as described, and Tom and Julie were very responsive.

We had a very nice stay. The place was clean and so were the kitchen tools. It was a quiet remote place that helped removed our stress. We loved the hot tub and that it was inside the porch because it made us feel less vulnerable when it got dark and it was close to the door.

Great host and a nice, private location! Overall a great experience.

We love it here! It quickly became our home away from home! This was our 3rd trip to the cabin and definitely won’t be the last!
