My husband and I were very pleased with all the nest had to offer. Not a large space, but so artfully utilized with high ceilings and tastefully appointed furniture it had that welcoming feeling of “always room for one more” though we were only two. There are stairs to the Nest, but safely and newly carpeted so that even our 15 yr old Cockerpoo felt confident scampering up. Well lite (which is rare for an Air B&B) , comfy bed, quiet, great pots to cook with, no corners cut in any respect. Butter and cream and healthier than usual snacks awaited. No harsh chemical cleaning smell in sheets, towels, or space, though nevertheless managed to be spanking clean. A feeling of generous hospitality with great privacy as well. Want to return!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a peaceful area, great parking and the apartment is very clean and beautiful decorated. The bed could be larger as the room has plenty of space. The bathroom is very nice as well. Marie and Michael are great hosts who help you out when necessary.

What a charming loft in a charming town! I feel so lucky I got to stay in this place. The bed was a lot of fun—a magical pull out from a book case! The restaurant downstairs was amazing, as were the local shops (Haute Coffee was such a highlight). I had questions about parking and the hosts were so fast to help me alleviate my anxiety (parking anxiety, your girl has it). Such a delightful stay, and so many historical things to do locally. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I came to the area to visit Salem in October. With it being such a busy time of year, this was a perfect location for our stay. Walkable location to the commuter rail and also a very short drive as well. We used both the rail and car depending on the day to navigate busy traffic and parking. The treehouse retreat was very nice and well kept, with a large kitchenette, bedroom, and living space. Would return!

Sherman and Denice’s loft was cozy, clean, and on a beautiful lake. The location was centrally located to everything including Jacob’s Pillow, Tanglewood, Berkshire Theaters, and Ashuwillticook Rail trail. We rented e-bikes for the first time for this rail trail. Was a highlight of the trip. We enjoyed kayaking and hanging out by the lake. A very zen, relaxing stay! The communication was wonderful! The loft had lots of information about activities, restaurants, etc.
