Places to stay in Marrero

Joseph's apartment is in a friendly, walkable neighborhood of Uptown; convenient to local eateries and bars, Audubon Park and Tulane and Loyola Universities. The apartment is well-furbished, clean and very comfortable. Joseph's hospitality could not be beat! We will look forward to sharing this apartment as a place for our friends, family and colleagues to stay when they visit New Orleans. Thank you for all, Joseph!

Wonderful stay in a great location in the lower garden district! The apartment was clean with comfortable bedding & more than spacious enough for 2 couples traveling together. Loved how easy the access to the entire city was from here - both walking and quick occasional ubers. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating, doing whatever they could to help us out when we had some weird flight timing issues. Thanks again!

We couldn't be more happy with Spencer's place. The location alone makes it worth the stay. There's a streetcar stop and local market one block away (the jambalaya there is surprisingly good) and many local restaurants and bars within walking distance. Accommodations are perfect, too. Almost like having 2 small apartments with a common living space between them. Spencer responded quickly on his day off from work to get us the help we needed. We will definitely look for his place when we return to The Crescent City!

Great location! Perfect size for our family of 8. Responsive host. Easy in/out. Very high ceilings in unit and lots of sweet character. For anyone street parking in this area..we got a parking ticket for parking within 20 ft of a crosswalk. Also lots of 2 hr parking. It was fine until the French Quarter festival started, then there was no parking. We had to find a paid lot.

What a gorgeous home! We were just blown away when we checked in and couldn't get over the layout and the character of the place. I wish we had had more time, and I will definitely book this place again next time I visit NO. The Marigny has always been my favorite neighborhood, and Franz's place was just deep in enough to be quiet, away from the lively bars on Frenchman, while being a short walk to all the action. Mostly though, I could have spent the whole visit on the balcony porch drinking coffee. So dreamy!

Perfect location for us - neat building, on the edge but not in French Quarter - but easily accessible to thing like Streetcars for zoo and garden district, ferry, warehouse district, WW2 museum, etc. Apartment obviously not someone's home but a rental - that was fine since it was styled well. You sometimes hear the trolleys rumble by but we found that charming. you could have two couples or a couple and kids but prior reviewer is correct in that because of the styling of the room divides there would not be privacy if you wanted some intimate time. That said, kitchen, bathroom and storage were all great - good wifi and TV in main room and bedroom. All in all, a great rental for a week.

Prefect airbnb no problems at all very clean and peaceful. Make sure you hit the welcome center for flyers so you know what to do and our host suggest le pass app and that was great was able to locate restaurants and museums and that app was a lifesaver saved a ton of money on parking.

Highly recommend Kay’s place for a peaceful New Orleans getaway. It’s tucked away in the most lovely neighborhood and just steps away from many great restaurants and the beautiful Audubon park. Would definitely stay again!
