Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mariposa

We really enjoyed staying in this studio in the woods. It fit our family of four and our dog perfectly. We loved all the little details that came with the studio, including the helpful local hints, the well stocked kitchen and the labels everywhere that helped navigate the space. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and really appreciated the extra amenities of the waffle maker and mix. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Yosemite and want to check out Mariposa and the surrounding area.

Tchukon and Carolyn were incredibly kind, and the house was stunning. The design was exactly my style, and our room was extremely comfortable. The jacuzzi maintained the perfect temperature at all times, making it an ideal place to relax. It’s the perfect getaway for a trip with friends, you don’t even need to leave the house! From a pool table for entertainment to a fire pit with plenty of wood, it truly has everything. I would return without a doubt. Thank you, guys!

The Bear House provided a wonderful home base for a winter trip to Yosemite with our 6 adult friends. We especially loved the view of the surrounding mountains from the backyard (and hot tub!), the furnace in the living room, and the game room! The kitchen had all we needed to make breakfast and dinner and we were pleased that there was ample firewood provided to keep the fire going all weekend long. After a long day hiking in the Yosemite Valley, the Bear House was a little over an hour away-- a reasonable distance that was much more affordable than staying in the valley. Rachel was an incredible host. She was super friendly, communicative, and really made us feel at ease prior to our arrival. She even went above and beyond to work with us when we had to cancel our trip and reschedule for a month later. Even though we were beyond the cancellation window, she fully refunded us for our prior stay once new visitors booked during our initial reservation. Thank you so much, Rachel!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Leslie’s place was really great and in close enough proximity to Yosemite, especially if you want to get to Mariposa Grove. It has the capacity to host a lot of people, and it’s great for a family gatherings. The property was clean and inviting and served as a wonderful home base for our short getaway from Los Angeles. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a hiccup and could not stay the first night and Diann was kind enough to offer us another night. The house was clean, the years was beautiful with an awesome deck. The rooms had big comfortable beds and heaters to keep warm. We got there as it snowed and it was magical. The years was huge and fenced so safe for kids to play in the snow freely.

Our stay was amazing!! Rachel was helpful we were able to check in sooner than our regular time! Home was spotless clean and felt like home!! It is a beautiful place to stay and spend quality time with Family and friends! Hope to be able to come back soon!

David’s Airbnb was perfect for our weekend stay in Shaver Lake. This stay was absolutely cozy and beautiful. We definitely loved the location - really nice place and felt safe. David was such a great host - one of the best host I have encounter. His instructions were very clear. He was quick to respond to our emails. Everything went smoothly - he messaged us a day prior to bring snow chains due to the weather. He would always check in on us to see how we’re doing. David’s place was well kept and clean. Check-in and check-out was very easy and David was such a responsive host. We had a great stay. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended. Second time here, and honestly, it was even better than the first. This place is great for a getaway. You don’t have to go anywhere else, this place has it all. Views, hot tub, pool, tv, fire pit, it’s great.

Had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my visit. The location was great quiet, yet close to everything I needed. The amenities were thoughtful, and I felt right at home. Would recommend!

Had a lovely New Years holiday vacation with our two dogs! The cabin was perfect for the four days/three nights we spent at the property. We loved using the hot tub at night and found the property cozy, peaceful, and a beautiful setting overall. The property is a quick drive to town which has fantastic restaurants and a whimsical vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family with small children and 2 dogs felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking so you dont have to buy every ingredient(spices, seasonings, oil etc). The yard and pool is fenced so no worries about dogs or kids jumping in the pool without your knowledge. Our favorite part was the spacious warm living space and the jacuzzi right outside the back door. Our toddler enjoyed “swimming” multiple times a day, thank you so much for sharing this home. We would love to come back again for sure!

Great Tri-level home. Enough space for us to relax, play and watch TV. Little cumbersome with 1-2 year old with the stairs, but that’s to be expected when renting a place with stairs. Beds were comfortable and every room has access to the outdoor patio. Kitchen had sufficient items to cook a meal. Parking was easy and the area was quiet.

Already looking for reasons to go back! The cabin (which seems like a brand new ADU) was perfect. The grounds were very pretty and I felt safe walking the dog around at night. The old golf course was an incredible place to walk the dog while enjoying nature and very cool statues. Proximity to Bay Area and Yosemite was just what we were looking for.

This cozy cabin was a wonderful retreat that made us feel right at home! It had all the comforts of home and was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and Elisha was a warm and welcoming host!

We arrived at the location once the sun had gone down and I will admit the drive through the dark fields was a bit unsettling however as soon as we pulled up to the location they had plenty of colorful lights on and the stay was very peaceful and quiet. Complimentary snacks and dog treats Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay (:

Loved this little place. Was our last stop before heading home to TX. Lots of great little touches and she was super helpful and kind! Highly recommend if you need an easy, unique, and comfortable place to stay!

This cabin was the perfect get away for myself, my husband and our dog! Noella was always very responsive to any questions that I had and made us feel very welcome. The cabin was the perfect size and came stocked with nearly everything you could need or want. I loved having the Keurig with stocked coffee, sugar and creamer; and there was tea available also. We had some questions about some nearby hikes, and Noella was quick to answer and very helpful with finding places for us to go. The bathroom was also stocked with fresh, clean towels along with bug spray, a few band-aids, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There were games available also in the cabin for us to play and a very cute, comfortable hammock outside. All in all we would love to go back and we had a ln amazing stay!

Excellent place to stay, highly recommend! Short drive to the Yosemite entrance, good restaurants and shops in the area. Comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Yosemite, and the hot tub was a life saver for our sore legs. Hosts were always responsive and had good recommendations for places to eat/things to do. Easy to find and easy checking/check out. Would for sure stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Stephanie and Dwight were fantastic hosts! The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. They were super responsive and made us feel right at home. We’d definitely love to come back—highly recommend!

One of the best Airbnb’s for the price and proximity to the Bay Area for a large group. Host was super responsive and accommodating. House is in a private complex and is large, is perched on a small incline, has sleeping rooms slightly elevated or below the living-dining-kitchen area giving privacy and quiet while kids run around. Overall, layout is good for large groups. Has a pool table and a ping pong table which was a plus.

We had a great time staying at the Jollyrancher. We loved all the interesting western pieces and curated vibe of the cabin. Lots of activities available and not to mention Yosemite is a stone's throw away. Sega was a big part of my youth so fun to give that thing a go too. We enjoyed playing darts and having a bonfire in the private outside area after a long day of hiking. Be sure to bring your favorite vinyls, as there's a decent record player front & center. The host was responsive and courteous. Cheers & thanks for the hospitality!
