Beautiful Home surrounded by nice gardens. Very peaceful. The hosts are kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here. I highly recommend for solo travellers or family. It’s a little far away from things but the host gave me a bicycle.

Excellent stay in a simple and convenient location to the beach and shops. I had an airport mishap and Mallika and her son, Randeer were extremely accomodating and supportive by providing me with the essentials. Their hospitality is heart-warming which made my stay pleasant.

I loved staying at The Hydeaway and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the greater area. The amenities and furnishings are of very high standard. Sebastian was traveling during my stay but he checked in to make sure all was well and his sisters stopped by for personal greeting and offer any help needed. Caretaker was very responsive and appreciated his service and attention. This is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time with easy access to public transportation or private rides for getting to other areas.

This was one of my favourite stays in my time in Sri Lanka and a great way to end my time in the country. The place was easy to find, felt comfortable and homey, and the host thought of everything and anything travellers may need in a stay. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was good, the wifi was strong and there was a nice patio area out front to chill out. The host was also amazing! Answered any questions we had promptly, gave great recommendations and was so kind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely stay again if I find myself back in the area.
