Vacation rentals with breakfast in Maine

The house was clean and organized, comfortable!! Centralized for all areas of things to do!! Close to casino!! Very nice place !!

We LOVED our weekend on Arrowhead Lake! Great house for families. We have three teenagers and loved having separate spaces for everyone, as well as places we could all gather together, inside or out! There was something for everyone! Perfectly set up for those who love to cook, fish, kayak, walk or just read a book outside! Nearby we enjoyed the farm stands, our first attempt at disc golf, my son's first catch of a small mouth bass and shopping at the Limerick Grocery Store (very well stocked!). We hope to return again soon!! Elizabeth was a wonderful and attentive host!

Emily’s place was the perfect getaway for our long weekend in KPT! We loved staying here and look forward to coming back!!

We had a great week at Charissa’s place. Everything was as listed. Charissa has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. This place is very large and allows for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will stay here again, if we are ever in the area. Thanks Charissa for the plentiful fruit basket and delicious blueberry muffins. Such a nice breakfast treat!

The host was very accommodating with any type of situation related to our questions and concerns. The owner was engaged with us for our entire stay and did whatever she could to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone who expects a courteous and respectful environment for the whole family!

What a beautiful and completely unique home. So glad Johnathan was able to share this amazing place with us. We had my sisters bachelorette weekend here, and she said it was exactly what she wanted. We actually spent more time enjoying the home than we thought. We did a lobster bake down by the shore, watched the sunrise, and hunted constellations at night. A perfect weekend spent on the lake in Autumn. Does it get any better? Johnathan was always there to help, and so friendly and caring. We appreciated all the family history, and every cozy detail of his home. We were sad to leave, but maybe we will have a reunion in the future here! I hope so!

We had an amazing time at Kim's place. They were very responsive to some questions we had about getting into the place given it was snowing. The house was cozy and amazing, and had spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

The feeling of being on this beautiful estate is amazing. We felt like the Duke and Dutchess of Bristol. The grounds are beautifully manicured and invite strolls through the orchard, down scenic walking paths, and down to the large pond for a swim or glorious paddle on the provided canoes and kayaks. Timothy is thoroughly delightful, warm and charming. It felt like we were staying on the estate of a treasured old friend. We look forward to returning again and again.

Staying at Jin and Wayne’s place was truly restorative. BEAUTIFUL property, LOVELY hosts, PERFECTLY appointed. We were amazed at all the thoughtful touches and calming atmosphere. The beds and linens were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We stayed in lilac, peony, and iris blooming season - their gardens are spectacular. We met Jim and she was so friendly and lovely. We felt welcomed and guided. Rockland was charming, quiet, with great walking trails, shops, and activities. They have a good selection of Wyeths and other Maine artists at the Farnsworth Gallery. VERY friendly town and we will return to stay at Salty Cape. Thank you for a PERFECT stay.

The location was perfect - you didn’t need your car to get around. We were right at the main square or park with lots of interesting shops and restaurants close by. We were 10 minutes from Acadia National Park. Highly recommend spending the extra $6 to drive up Cadillac Mountain. The unit was well appointed, clean, and had games for the kids to play. I did’t care for the shower but I am not used to a claw-foot tub shower. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time at Joan’s cozy condo! She made freshly baked goodies upon our arrival, it was delicious! 2 min away from the beach! The location can’t be beat. The only downside was the train, very close to the house, that passes roughly every three hours during week days. If you don’t mind the nose, the place is perfect for a small family, friends and couples. It had different board games, beach toys for kids, foldable beach chairs etc. Overall great place! We loved our stay at Brenda's place. It was great for a peaceful vacation, a quiet location with no traffic jams!! A bit remote but not too far from the places we like to go in Midcoast Maine.

The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. The beds including mattresses and linens were very comfortable and plenty of blankets were available. Location was great to visit the sights in Bath. We'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful abode in the trees ! We looked forward to coming back “home” every night. The bathtub was incredible. Thank you, Emma!

Spent just one night to go skiing. Host was responsive and friendly and let me check in at my convenience. Nice selection of breakfast foods, fruit and water...even hand warmers if needed on the slope. Very pleasant stay. Easy parking and convenient location. I'd stay again.

What a great spot! Would love to stay here again if we’re ever up in Bar Harbor. You’re so close to Acadia, and everything else is right outside your door.

We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend. We have two young children and this was the perfect couples getaway. The Airbnb was so quiet and cozy. We slept so peacefully after long hiking days. Sue is an amazing cook and breakfast was delicious! Early hikes and travel plans didn’t allow us to always eat in person, but Sue and Eric thoughtfully prepared delicious baked goods and fruit for us. They were quick with communication and extremely organized. Everything was very clean too. I would stay here again and hope to in the future when we are back to visit Acadia.

We love Carol! She was a great host. Provided breakfast every morning, and suggested great places to visit throughout the day. On top of that, she is everything you wish your grandma was. Thanks Carol! Staying here was the best decision for visiting Maine, specifically Acadia. Fifteen minute drive to anywhere on the island without the hassle of staying in a crowded place.

This house was very nice and we would definitely stay again. Both Bill and Paul were very kind. They were eager to help with anything we needed and the atmosphere was perfect. The house was a short drive away from Acadia and Bar Harbor which was perfect for what we wanted to do. The muffins provided every morning helped give the best start to the day. The rooms were clean and nice to come home to at the end of the day.

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

Our stay at Deborah and Wayne's home was absolutely delightful. The gardens and surroundings were stunning, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. There were so many cozy spots to sit, relax, and unwind, both inside and outside the home. Each morning, a delicious breakfast was waiting for us, adding a special touch to our experience. Deborah and Wayne were incredibly helpful, always sharing valuable information to ensure we enjoyed the area to the fullest. The home itself was beautiful, and our bedroom was comfortable, well-appointed, and had everything we needed to feel at home. We will definitely be coming back again!
